We had our interview November 25th here it is our review :-)
Interview process went as expected. We stayed at Days Inn. Parking per day was $20 dollars. Since we drove from London to Montreal we thought it was best to arrive a day earlier than scheduled because it made the trip less stressful than it already was. I highly suggest a GPS if you don’t speak French because everything is in French. It seems that everyone on the forum mentions lining up early in the morning is best however our experience was that you just stand in the cold until 7:45 when the doors open and once you are let in the people who waited the longest got shuffled around anyway due to the elevator. Our guess is that if you line up early and try to adjust yourself in the elevator properly you might save yourself 15-20 minutes of waiting depending on how long the line is however like mentioned above you will spend an hour or longer in the cold outside. Another tip is that you don’t need a l... read complete review

My interview was November 25th,
I drove to Montreal from Ontario and got a room at the Days Inn the night before. It was about 6 blocks from the consulate, but fairly inexpensive considering the other rates nearer were $160 a night. The room was nice, beds comfortable, the heater and bathroom vent were loud so I just shut them off. The underground parking was hard to navigate.
I got up early the next morning, 5am. Got dressed and packed because I was checking out then. I spoke with the front desk and they said it wouldn't be a problem for my car to stay until 4pm. He offered to call me a cab, because it was cold.
Loaded up the car trunk and walked to the consulate. It was chilly but not as cold as I had figured...I arrived in front of the consulate about 5:45am, and then I waited...and waited...and waited. But I am used to waiting now.
If I had to do it again I wouldn't have gotten there so early, but I have read a lot of reviews that say to be there by 6... read complete review

Hello everyone. Yesterday my wife had her interview for US immigration. Everything went exactly as described on this site, including them questioning domicile. I had a letter from my work stating they would allow me to transfer back to the states. I believe if I did not have this letter he would not have approved my application so be careful if you are living abroad with your spouse.
Everyone was polite and professional. I also went around 9AM even though my interview was at 10:30AM. They actually told me to come back in 30 mins which didn't make any sense because the girl in front of me had an interview for 10:30AM as well. Anyways, I went away for 30 minutes then came back and went through security and got a ticket upstairs. I was in there from 10AM-12:30PM, so it wasn't too bad for someone who didn't go so early.
