Sorry for the late review. My interview was on July 27th 2015. 10 AM. Montreal Consulate.
I will keep it brief. I parked on side of the building opposite star bucks. If you are parking on the street, I suggest having some one re-fill your parking meter.
Dont expect to be served on time. My appointment was at 10AM, I was served 3PM.
You go thru security kinda like at the airport. Dont bring any bags with you.
First window they asked for my civil docs originals and I-864. She was really friendly.
You are given a number near the security and that number will be yours for the whole day.
More waiting than I was called to a window.
The interview literally took 5 mins. Young white male, very friendly person as well.
Only asked how we met and what line of work I do.
And that was it! Thank you everyone for your support.

Had the interview last week. I arrived at the consulate at 6:50AM, got inside the building at 7:40AM, left at 8:30AM. I was #2 in line.
The documents they are asked me were:
- Appointment letter (the one that contains your appointment date, method of payment, selected loomis location etc.)
- Passport and photocopy
- 2 passport photos
- Birth certificate and photocopy
- Original police certificate
- Original letter of intent to marry signed in the last 30 days
- I-134 & my fiance's 1040 tax return for 2014 (I had paystubs, W2's and his employment letter but he didn't need itit wasn't requested)
The questions I got asked were (in no particular order):
- How did I meet him
- When did I meet him for the first time
- When did we get engaged
- Have I ever been arrested
- Have I ever entered the U.S. illegally
- Have I ever been refused entry into the U.S.

The visa interview process went very smoothly! Despite being greeted by gloomy skies and a light mist of morning rain, we arrived at the embassy just around 7AM. There were just a couple of people in line ahead of us. Since there was no real direction about line formation, we just stood there until the guards showed up around 7:30 to enforce a proper single-file formation. Of course, we ensured we were near the front of the line since we had been waiting. (*note - you DO need to be a bit nice-aggressive with the other people in line because they will try to cut and push*). We had a 7:40 AM appointment and were called to the front of the line, given a card (#1), and sent inside. We went through your basic metal detector process, sent down a set of stairs, and into a waiting room. From previous reviews I have read, I knew exactly what to expect. The advice about sitting/standing near the elevator is true. Once the guard opened the elevator to allow people in, we made sure we quickly ent... read complete review

I just went to my interview at Vancouver today at 10 am . I came out of the building at 2:20 pm . It was almost four hour wait , in a room where there is no tv nor magazine but your own documents to look at . You're not allowed to bring cell phones or food or water with you and you need to leave your big bag outside of the building at the security check entrance . Try not to drink water cuz once the let you go up the elevator to the waiting room , there is no washroom for you to use . You'll need to leave the building and go through the check and line up again . Thus , eat something but no drink before you go . I almost fainted when close to 3 hrs waiting . the interview part was easy only took about ten minutes less than ten questions . I keep my answer very simple . I heard the guy before blah blah blah about he and his fiancée reunited after 15 years . Then the officer asked him whether they both had previous marriage and how they settle divorce and where the kid and custody .....m... read complete review

This is my experience getting my K-1 visa at the Vancouver consulate in July 2015, with added info about the medical exam. My memory is a little fuzzy, so my apologies if I can't remember something. Warning: The following account is long.
The medical:
Dr. Cheema's office is in Surrey, which is far from where I was staying. I took public transit, which is easy with Google Maps and online trip planners, but it took about 1hr 20 minutes. The office is in a small strip mall. Be prepared for a bit of a wait. At the front desk, the nurse collected my photos, vaccination records, and checked my appointment confirmation letter (DS-160). I had also printed off the packet 4 confirmation, but she did not look at that. She also checked ID (my passport) and I think she also took a second piece of ID (I used my provincially issued ID card), but I can't remember exactly.
The medical exam itself was very short and perfunctory. Dr. Cheema asked some questio... read complete review
