The interview was fast and very straight forward. Nothing I wasn't already prepared for from this website. They asked random questions about my relationship and then approved me. It was a be 5 mins long.

I got my medical done in Montreal the same week as the interview. Medical was super easy, just random tests. They did x-rays, but the US Consulate did not need them at all. Also, they didn't mention drugs at all - other than asking if I was addicted to any.
Arrived at 8:30 on the spot because my interview was for 9AM. When we arrived there was about a dozen people in line, all looking quite anxious - HA! We got in and the guard directed us to a lady who took our confirmation page and passport; she took a minute looking it over and then gave us a ticket.
We got in and you go through a miniature airport security TSA-like place, where they tell you to take everything out of your pockets and that. We handed over our cell-phones, which they give you a little sticker to obtain them afterwards. You go through a door, down the stairs and into an elevator. Arrive in the main waiting area, wait for your number to be called - took us about half an hour. They do the initial check - t... read complete review

Our appointment was at 9:30am. The line wasn't long when we got there ~30 mins before our appointment. We had all the necessary paperwork and got right in. It was easy to check the one phone we brought with us (we didn't bring anything else). Several people were turned away because they brought large bags with them. And I know of at least one person who wasn't let in because they were too early.
We received a laminated card that listed all the paperwork they might request and the order it needed to be assembled. We gathered the items while we waited. It says on the card that if you don't have your paperwork together in the order requested, they will ask you to go and do it while they take the next person.
It took about 45 mins for our number to be called. We met with a very nice lady who collected our paperwork. Then went back to our seat to wait another 10-15 mins for the second interview. I (petitioner) was not allowed to go up with my fiance for the se... read complete review

Showed up at 7:40 as per my scheduled interview time, but it took at least an hour or more to actually get to the first window where a very nice lady asked for all of our documents. *WE DIDN'T BRING COPIES OF MY FIANCE'S TAX RETURNS, JUST HIS W-2. THANKFULLY THIS WASN'T A PROBLEM FOR US BUT PLEASE DON'T FORGET THIS FOR ANYONE ELSE GOING THROUGH IT.*
After handing all of our documents to the lady, we sat down again and waited for probably another 40 minutes. I was called up for the interview portion (fiance not allowed to come to this part). The gentleman who interviewed me only asked me how my fiance and I met. Then we made small talk and he said "Your Visa is approved." That was it. A good experience overall. Probably took 2 or 2.5 hours total.
Also, on all the documentation, it says "No cell phones or other electronic devices allowed within US Consulate" so my fiance and I didn't bring ours, but virtually everyone had their phone and they... read complete review
