We arrived at the Consulate at 730 am. We were 5th in line. After the security screenings we went upstairs. A lady from the consulate came out to greet us and give us instructions. She gave us a new document order (that was not the same as what we were given in Packet 4). Her instructions were in Portuguese. Then we were called in to present out documents at 9 am. She told us everything looked okay, and then gave us the slip to go pay downstairs. At 1015 am we were called in for the interview. The consul said "Bom Dia" (pronouncing Dia like it was Spanish though), and we sat down. He then asked my wife if she spoke English, and she said yes, and if I spoke Portuguese... I responded "yes, kind of." So he asked my wife what language she wanted to have the interview in, and she told him it didn't matter. So he proceeded in English.

We never received the packet 3 then I decided to send it after 1 month and 1 week of wait. After I do that I received the cover letter with my date interview with packet4. We spent very time waiting consulate answered us the next time we ll be paying more attention.

I went to the consulate by myself. The interview was simple with the regular questions (how you met? what does he do for a living?). The lady was polite and nice. Nothing to complain about really. I was on a plane to my sweetie that same night!

Our interview went really smooth.
We arrived at the consulate about 6:30. I know it's early but we didn't realize that the train would be that fast. We were the first in line and when another couple arrived they held our space for us to go have breakfast. I was nervous/excited and wanted to wait in line. We went back at 7:00 a.m.
Some time between 7:30 and 7:40 they called us in. We purposely left everything at the hotel so we could go right in. We went up to the second floor and took a "senha". Since we were first in line we were the first to hand in our documents. It was great because they gave us a list of the order. I didn't have copies of my taxes, letter of employment, or letter from the bank so they sent us across the street to make copies. The woman told us that we could immediately give them to her - and not wait.

The CO was very polite and that makes me feel fine on my interview. There was a woman that talked to me first, very nice and polite.
The interview was very organized, I gave him original documents by mistake and he gave me back.
It was a success!!!!
