Hello and Good day to everyone!
The whole process it was so smooth and easy, everybody is so helpful.
Others fiancé (e), were all sharing their stories to one another!

First, Alex explain how to fill some forms and how it all works and double check our documents, then a lady called to a window to double check again the papers and the medicals, plus biometrics, all smooth and she was very nice and welcoming, then she keeps your files and ask you to sit and wait for your interview. Back on the seat and people sharing their love stories and its so much fun and helps to relax, that's the time you really realize everybody does go thru the same fears, and your not alone ..... One by one is called, I was the third to be interviewed, simple questions:

1 - HOW YOU MET?
2 - HOW YOU KEEP IN TOUCH? ( FACETIME AND VIBER SKYPE SO ON)
3 - HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO THE USA/ HAS HE EVER BEEN TO BRAZIL?

The interview was quick and objective. I did not have any problems. My fiance was with me. The consul only asked how we met, I explained it in Portuguese and the visa was approved.

Preparing for interview:

My interview was scheduled for Nov 5. The doctor sent in my medical results on Oct 7. On Oct 21 my spouse received an email from the consulate reminding us to do medical exams. He wrote back on the same day telling them that I had already done it and that results had been sent on Oct 7. As we didn’t hear back from the consulate at all, two weeks later I sent them another email to confirm that they had received the results. No word from them until the day before the interview, when I got a reply to my message to the consulate. In the email, they said that they had not received my results and that I should come to the interview normally and later contact the doctor to find out what happened. Without any delay, I called the doctor and told him what was going on. He promised to contact the consulate immediately to clarify things. An hour later, the doctor sent me a whatsapp message telling me the consulate had found my results that that everything... read complete review

PROS: We were approved!
CONS: We waited, and waited, and waited a lot... and watched people getting grilled in their interviews because the interview booth is exposed. It made me very nervous. They were not exactly organized.

But in the end, the whole process at the embassy was very simple and straightforward. If you have followed the guides and instructions from this forum, chances are that the interview process will be a mere formality.

The CO has asked me four questions:

1) When and how did you meet your husband?
2) What do you do for a living?
3) What does he do for a living?
4) Have you met his family?

And that's it. I was approved. My impression is that he just asked these questions for the sake of it, but that I was already approved from the documents review.

I will write a more thorough review in Portuguese with some tips. Feel free to send me a private message if you have qu... read complete review
