Review Topic: K1 Visa

I had a very good experience on my interview, the consulate is very organized and everything went well, nothing to be anxious or worried about, just bring all your paperwork and relax.the consul ( a men) who interviewed me was very nice , i was totally relaxed during my interview wich took like 5 minutes, just always tell the truth and everything will be ok .

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Showed up 45min early for an 8:45am interview. We didn't need to get there that early and ended up waiting for about an hour as the interviews were running behind schedule. We only needed a few documents which are sorted out before you get to the interview window. There is a computer and printer there if you forget anything, but we didn't have to use it. We were both really nervous before the interview but they only asked us 2 questions, how we met, and if we have spent time together in person. The interviewer didn't look at any documents (photos, tax returns, evidence, etc) and just said that we were approved. We decided to stay in Rio hoping that it would speed up the process, but it still took 9 days (7 business days) before the visa was delivered. The status changed to "Issued" on the 2nd business day after the interview and I guess it was just sitting around waiting to be shipped for a few days? Anyway it all worked out in the end!
