Our appointment was scheduled at 07:20 in the morning. We arrived at approximately 07:00. There was a short line of other applicants waiting, so we waited with them. Shortly after, they came out and verified the names of those waiting. We were escorted inside and through the security checkpoint. We were led upstairs to a room and asked to sit. Victor came around and gave a list of documents and a form to fill out. We completed the form and organized our documents, and when he was ready we took them to him to be checked. He verified all our documents and forms, and gave them back to us. We were directed to sit in the front row to await to be called.
After a short wait, we were called to a booth where a lady thoroughly checked each document and verified our copies. We were returned the originals along with the DS-3025 from the medical packet. She told us we will need that for the AOS and other procedures still to come. She collected fingerprints and then we were asked... read complete review

The embassy in Uruguay will allow you to bring your spouse and any children along to the interview. The CO just interviewed my wife at the window. The entire process took about 30 minutes but most of the time was spent waiting for them to confirm they had all the required documents. Our interview was scheduled at 10:45am and we were out by 11:30am. Overall the staff there were very friendly and tolerant as our daughter is autistic and was a bit of a disturbance with her behavior. Just make sure you have all the required documents listed in the email from the consulate and you should not have any problems with getting processed and approved for your visa. One important note. If you need police clearance from Bolivia or any other country, you will need to obtain these documents or obtain a letter from the consulate of that country stating that they cannot be obtained due to you not meeting the requirements such as not possessing a current ID etc. In our case my wife physically traveled t... read complete review

I got my interview on may 30th, the process was super easy, there are two guys helping everyone to organize the papers and get in line to start the process. First you are called to a booth to have a documentation check, and in this part they keep your docs. Then you go back to the line and wait to be called by your name, I was asked a few questions, how we met, where we met, if we both have been to each other countries and if we had wedding plans. I had the 8am appointment, got there at 7:30, left at 9. Everyone was very polite and all the process was very easy. After 8 months waiting this was like a "what, it's done?" Moment.
