Review Topic: K1 Visa

All in all, smooth process. Checking of the forms took 5 min and interview took probably another 5-10 minutes. Then she gave fingerprints and an oath. i was sitting probably 5 minutes away from her while she was being interviewed. Consul was very nice and friendly. Didnt even ask for any evidence nor pictures. He had my original K1 packet in front of him and he just went through the pictures quickly and never asked anything on them...
The questions she was asked were:
- Where and what does you fiance work?
- How long do you know each other?
- Where did you meet and when did you get engaged?
- How many times have you seen each other?
- Have you ever been to US?
- Was he ever married before?

Then he said congratulation and come back in 3 days to pick up the visa. He also said to my fiance: now you can smile too

- Oh yes, one more thing, lady that was checking her forms asked for my phone ... read complete review

The interview went very well. I was a lot more nervous then my hubby. He was asked 3 questions, when we were married, how long I have been in the USA and why our case was expedited?? The immigration officer was so nice and my hubby felt confortable talking to him without a translator!!1 Now we are just waiting to get my hubbies visa!!! The process was quiet long and frustrating at times, but I am so glad it is over and we are going to the USA together!!! Good luck to everyone!!! The process took 5 months!!

My husband's interview was scheduled for july 14th but they called and told em to come july 15th at 9:30am....

He was there for about 10-15 minute they asked him one question how did we meet? He told the interviewer he knew what he asked him and the interviewer told him to answer in English. My husband did... They told him he was APPROVED.... They also Thanked him for bringing all the evidence and told him he can pick up his Visa on Tuesday July 19th at 2pm...

Took me more time to get through the gate then to answer inteview questions: 1. Where did you two met, 2.How did you start dating, 3.What does he (husband) do for living and $. Where you plan to live. Proof of relationship: took only photos, they didn t even look at anything else. Visa pick up next day.
