Interview was at 8:30 am and I have arrived at 8:15 am and they told me to get in line they started letting one by one inside .
I came inside went through the medal detectors like the ones at the airport and went ahead inside .
Came inside and got a number ,sat down till they called my number,
went to window # 1 and documents' police certificate and court certificate, marriage certificate and birth certificate,(they all have to be originals.) otherwise they will turn you back!!!!!!
At the window # 1 she took around 100 of my photos, and they return the paperwork from NVC and USCIS
and then they tell you to sit down and wait till they call your name.
When they call you back up,you go to the next window # 2 ,and thats the interview window.
She was so happy and nice . .Loved talking to her.

My husband was really nervous going into his interview, but everything went very smoothly. He spoke with the consulate officer in Bosnian. He was asked 2-3 questions regarding where we met, how many times we saw each other, and about the pictures we provided. After that, he was told that he could pick up his visa in a few days. Nothing to worry about!

It was an overall very pleasant experience. My appointment was at 10 and I was there at 9:45, thinking it would be a good thing to be there a bit early. Don't do that! We all had to wait until 10 to go in. A few other people were waiting for a K1 interview as well.
They let us in at 10, went through security and they took my bag and my phone (you have to turn it off) and gave me a number. At the first counter they confirmed some info like my name, birth date, asked me for my email and asked about my fiancé's phone number and asked me to confirm where he's from. Then they took my documents and fingerprints. For affidavit they only took the form even though I had a bunch of other stuff with me.
Then I sat down waiting to be called again, which happened in maybe 10 minutes. I was interviewed by a very nice lady who asked me some very basic questions about our relationship - how did we meet, when did we start dating, when did we get engaged, what does he do... read complete review
