My husband said the interview itself took less than 15 minutes. The staff were friendly and courteous. He got there much earlier than his 9 am appointment and they took him in earlier. He was finished before 9 am.

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Just completed our interview on August 29, 2017 we were approved. Went well my husband was asked only two questions and I was asked about my assets. For those using assets to meet the Poverty requirements be prepared with a job letter as they rate and ran your assets and might still require a joint sponsor. You will not be allowed to carry any devices including cell phones into the embassy.

The embassy is small and interviews take place at windows in front of waiting applicants.

Good luck everyone.

Review Topic: IR-5 Visa

Everything went smooth. There were not unusual or "gotcha" questions. They asked a few questions were they were more along the lines of "confirm this". Such as, "your son's household is one, is that correct?"

I don't remember the guys name but he asked how long I knew and where did I meet my fiancée, does she have any kids and how old, what is her address in the usa and is she married or divorced. then he looked over my documents and told me to return to my country and mail my passport and letter back to the embassy using fedex or dhl and it will be returned to me within 10 days. I told him I do not need it to travel back to my cou... read complete review
