Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Firstly I will state that one week prior to my interview date, I was contacted by Mrs. Darling from the US embassy in Nassau. She wanted to advise me as to any additional documents I needed to bring to the interview as well as what time I needed to be there prior to the interview. There is no parking available at the embassy so to avoid any delays you can park at the Hilton, they charge $10 dollars for all day parking.

I arrived at 10:15AM, (they will take your cell phones at the security check point)checked in with security. I advised that I had an appointment and needed to see Mrs. Darling. Please advise everyone that you are interviewing for an IMMIGRANT visa there are different rules for the NON-IMMIGRANT Tourist visa.

I went into the waiting area to where I was asked to wait for Mrs. Darling. She showed up within 5 minutes where I handed her the documents she requested me to bring. She asked me to wait for my name to be called by an interviewer. I w... read complete review
