I arrived about 8:45am and went to the reception/security on level 10, went through the security check and handed over my bag. I had to wait a minute and then I was able to go up to level 59, by this time it was 9:00am. I got my ticket and waited about 15 minutes and was called to the first counter where I handed over my passport and 3kg express post satchel. The lady gave me a document to read which was Pre-Departure Notice for Fiancé(e) Visas. I was told to take a seat and about 20 minutes later I was called to the next counter and the guy took my fingerprints.
I then waited about 20 to 30 minutes to be called to the next window for my interview. The CO handed back my original birth certificate and police certificate and then went through my file while she asked me some questions and typed my responses. By memory it basically went something like this:
How did you meet?
When will I travel to the US?
She asked if he lives in the DC area.

Came in half an hour early for my 9am appointment. I was surprised to see that there were already a few people ahead of me. All in all, it went through smoothely. Except I waited for about 1 1/2 hour before it was my turn. When I got to the window, I saw my paperworks stamped with a big red "APPROVED". She even thanked me for having them in order and completed. The guy who interviewed me was a little nonchalant and asked me a couple of questions. I think it literally took 5 mins for the interview after he told me that I will be getting my passport and visa via mail. Phewwww! That was quick.

Interview appointment time was set for 8am. Went up to level 10 at 7.30, handed over my handbag and sat down in the second row of chairs. We all got called up to the lift, and me being sneaky, let everyone in ahead of me so I could be the first one out when we got to level 59. This is where it got a bit strange.
I was the first out the lift, went right to security, and the guard could not find my name on the list. She double checked my letter and let me in anyways. Got ticket number one, and barely sat down when I was called to the first window. The man made small talk with me, took my prints, and then went to grab my file...which he came back and said he could not find. Cue me having an instant panic attack. He asked me if I was already married, to which I said no, I was pursuing a K1. He checked with me what Alex's full name was, went looking again, and then finally found my file. Interview went very smoothly. A few questions asked at the last window and I was told my visa was granted. Making sure you have EXACTLY what they ask for is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. I saw two families turned away because of missing documentation.

Arrived for my 11am appointment early and was let up by security at around 10.15am.. took my immigrant ticket from machine and was called to the counter almost instantly. The counter lady asked for my passport, visa fee, passport pics and 5kg express post page (not sure why I needed a 5kg bag) sat back down and then was called up 5 to 10 mins later to do my fingerprints. 10 mins later I was called for interview and was very easy and simple questions such as how did you meet, where do you intend getting married, has he visted you, have you made any trips to the US, how long was your longest duration of stay in the US. Interview wsa no more then 5 mins.. She then approved my visa and said it will be mailed to me. Very easy and simple and I was out of there before my 11am appointment time..
