My fiancee and I were super nervous for his interview but he said the guy was nice and it was very quick and everything went smoothly and he was approved on the spot. He said it was incredibly quick and that the interviewer only asked about 4 questions, just simple questions about me (his US fiancee) what I do for work, and who our co sponsor is. All in all, it was a good experience : )

This was a far better experience than my student visa back in 2012. Rather than an hour of waiting, it took 5-10 minutes between walking in the door and jumping in the elevator up to the main floor of the consulate.

My ticket was called within 5-10 minutes to have my paperwork collected. Of course, they collect it at the counters away from the waiting area where nothing can be heard, and do the interviews in front of everyone else where everything can be heard. No secrets! Most interviews took 5-10 minutes, some a little longer. People with anything on their police record, previous visa troubles or any doubt about their relationships were questioned pretty heavily.

My interview seemed to be the shortest of all the ones I saw. It took 3-4 minutes. I was basically asked when we met, gave a basic outline of our relationship, asked if I had any medical issues or trouble with the police. It felt more like a casual conversation than anything else. Approved witho... read complete review

Straightforward, my appointment was for 9:15, I went in early(7:45) and was asked to come back at 8:45, which was ok, there are some comfy lounge chairs just outside the security entrance you can relax on.

When I went back they screen, keep your phone, laptop and all cords etc, then you hand your paperwork to one of the ladies who sort through and take what They feel you need and put together a 'package' for you to hand in... They actually missed one piece of paperwork and later I was called back to provide, but was not an issue.

You go up to 59th floor, take a 'visa' ticket, wait for your number to be called. There were about 10 people in there, but they were getting through them quite quickly. I was called up to first window, all my papers taken by a Very friendly lady CSO and then back to wait for interview.

Interview went well... How did you meet? (I covered all aspects so he didn't need to ask any further questions 8-) ) Then he said Ap... read complete review

Very smooth interview process. The consular official was pleasant and asked a few general questions. We failed to provide an original of one document so we're given a yellow 221(g) and told we could re-complete the form and return it by mail. We did just that and received notice that the K-1 had been approved exactly 14 (agonizing) days later. Total interview time was less than 15 minutes.
