The good thing about the embassy is that they try to process the application in a timely manner. However, they are under staffed and they are overloaded. Especially after they moved applications from Yemeni Citizens to Algiers, and that created even more delay. I would also note that there is no way to contact the consular section for immigrant cases except through an email. There is no phone number to call. You cannot even walk in and present your concern. They will just ask you to email them. They do not answer emails quickly. It took me one month and a half to get an answer from them

The embassy was very kind. I was allowed to go into the embassy and even stand at the interview with my fiance, without question! We were only asked two questions, one of which was what I do for a living, the other was equally as simple. They said we were well prepared and organized. My fiance was also able to do his interview in French.

Just like the other reviews, you go through three windows- first to collection your confirmation, then to collect all papers, and then the actual interview. I found everyone here SUPER kind and welcoming. They also reply to emails fast.

Everyone at the embassy was very friendly and very professional. We had to wait for 3 weeks for an appointment as there seems to be only 1 slot open each month for K1 visas. I contacted the embassy 3 times and support@ustraveldocs.com to finally get an appointment set-up.

Interview went smooth
5 questions:
- How did you meet?
- When did he visit you?
- How long has he lived in the US?
- What does he do?
- Where will you live in the US?

The interview process was smooth and easy, but also long, the consular ask me couple simple Qs abt me, my Fiencee and our co-sponsor in this case her Mom.

then he told me congrats and welcome to your new life in America, but he said we have a technical issue and you have to come back for fingersprint scaning so i left my contact num hoping from them to call as soon as possible.

that was my experience hope everyone learn from it.

God is great and Hmdl
