Every time we call, they keep telling us that it takes 15 business days for a case to be received.

Well if I were you I'd give them a call. But it sounds like good news to me when they say your case is BEING adjudicated!

No, they did not ask me about the supporting evidence.

I thought I should get a letter which would have been written - your request was approved.

Now, do not even know whether it pleasant letter?

I just received a e-mail from USCIS stating:

" Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 days.

*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice, Request for Evidence, Notice of Intent to Deny or Notice of Intent to Revoke."

Is ur expedite request based on financial or humanitarian reason?

I made request based on "Extreme emergent situation".

On Friday, I requested to expedite my petition. Let's see what happens.

Small news, but anyway - today I received NoA 1 hard copy in the mail in Ukraine.

Guys, shocking news: I received the e-mail saying our petition is approved! That's NOA2! In 16 days!

I freaked out when I saw we had an e-mail, I thought it was an RFE, and I almost passed out when I saw it was the approval!!!

I'm very very happy of course, but I'm also feeling sad for all of the members here who've been waiting since June or July. And worried about the next steps cause I'm having a hard time getting my police clearance from Turkey (I lived there for 5 years).

But wow, it's been faster than I could've hope for!!!

John_trucker, kelad raises a good point. If your 3 month old daughter is your own biological daughter, she will not be issued a visa by the Embassy, instead, they will require a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) and a US Passport for her. US visas are not issued to US citizens. If your 3 month old daughter is only related to you by marriage, then you are on the right path and everything regarding CRBA is moot.

I just start my second I-130 journey in this year. This petition for my 3 month old daughter. I sent my package from Ukraine 2 weeks ago and today I received e-mail from USCIS about ... " ... Your USCIS petition has been received and routed to the California Service Center for processing ... ". My Receipt Number start with WAC129.....
