    Good news!! My husband got his visa and he is home with me now! No more waiting!! Thank you to all of you who supported me and stood by me, love to all of you!

    Thank you! It is just too emotionally difficult for us to be apart anymore so I have to go. I really hope that the embassy can help us out and issue a visa, but we cannot sit and wait forever. We need to spend time together. Thank you for your warm wishes and I hope you are out of AP soon.

    hard day...for both of us. Being apart is just so depressing. I cannot sleep and I just keep sitting up crying.

    I've been given so many different runarounds from the embassy. I emailed them requesting the current information on my cases since everyone tells me a different story. I can't help put hold my breath and pray that the truth will set us free!!

      Gosh...make me cry to read your posts. You both going through hardest days..inshallah you hear something...soon. Tomorrow my 1 year anniversary and i cant stop crying...I'm scared...dont want to think it or say it out in fear. this year has been torture....always thinking about you..always in my prayers

      It is heartbreaking, and I know that others like you and EAbbas are suffering. It is a very uncertain time, but I feel that eventually the truth will come out and the embassy will allow us to be with our loved ones. Being seperated during your one yr anniverstary is terrible. Just enjoy it as much as you can with your spouse via skype. Eat together, watch a movie (you can video share). I love watching a movie with my husband. Thank you for your prayers they are much needed!!

      wow its good to hear that you guys are trying to make the best of it even being apart so many miles. I tried to watch a movie with my wife one time through skype, but she complained that the tv screen looks completely white through the computer hahaha.

      Sabian, be strong! Like you, my husband and I are having our 4 year relationship anniversary this Feb, and we have been struggling through this process for over a year. We (you and me) must keep hope and fight our hardest for our love ones.

    Not good news from local Congress. They say our visa has been denied and to get an attorney. The one I paid consultation to won't help because of low income. I have reached the point where I can't live anymore. I just want to die.

      moreover try contacting thm n call things in writing from the embassy so tht u may b able to start working on it..dun just rely on the ph conversation and request thm to give their comments in writing..INSHAALLAH tis will help

      Dear have you received anything paper which states you have been denied? If the embassy says you are still in AP it might be possible you are...Call back and confirm it or ask to talk with someone who can better explain it. Inshallah you are in AP...my prayers with you, be strong sis.

    Enough of us have written our local congress that I think that the embassies will have to pick up the speed. Just my theory. I am sorry for your suffering, but you are not alone. I'll keep praying for you. Sometimes we don't have strength left, so we must lean on God to carry us through.

    Congrats on your congress getting back to you. I also contacted my Senator and they are working on it. I am happy at times like these that we have our local congress offices to hear us. Please let me know if your representative was able to help you. Thank you!
