mine changed to ready too. but i called yesterday and she said packet was sent out on friday. but it changed from nvc to in transit to Ready so i know its with embassy

Yes. Once it was shipped it changed to consulate. It all happened at about the same time.

Does the status change on ceac back to paid once the file is shipped or received by the local embassy??

When are they usually done shipping files to embassy after interviews are scheduled? I see that so far they have shipped files to only few countries.

Guys I payed the aos and the iv fee before the raise. So now that I have an interview date December 29, do I have to pay the difference?

We were wondering the same thing. We paid $88 for AOS and $320 for IV.

I read somewhere in one of the NVC monthly thread that if your interview is scheduled after December 11, you have to pay the difference at the embassy during the interview.

Maybe you have to call the consulate/embassy for that. Congrats btw

Case completed yesterday and interview date assigned today but it's on dec.31st!!! What can we do to get an earlier date? Who can we email?

Sent both packets together on sep 5 and scanned into the system on sep 8.

Ours was september 08(sent both packets together) so I guess October 12 to october 25. I probably should hear tomorrow if the formula works but I see very less chance looking at how they stuck in august and randomly approving september filers.

Its so annoying and disappointing . I actually stopped looking at this thread and facebook group for 2/3 days!!! Im actually happy for the random approval in september but it gets so frustrating when you have to keep waiting. I was supposed to get a call back from NVC on frday but guess what they never called. I called late friday night and they were like it takes more than 24 hours! Seriously bunch of lies...

Mine took 17 days to receive at NVC and another 10 days to be entered into the system. People who got NOA2 after me have their file shipped to nvc in less than 7 days.

We used wes .org for degree evaluation

I have a huge problem, I lost pretty much everything when my computer basically reinstalled Windows 7 for some unknown reason.

I think it was here in AKA Saylin's thread someone posted a site were you give them the information on your degrees from other countries and not sure if they determine if it can be used in the USA or/and verifies the degree is transferable? Something like that. Does anyone remember that and have the link?

I don't know the bit about the joint sponsors, but what I can tell you after looking at my I-864 is that I rounded up to the nearest dollar. I read on VJ and I believe in the instructions, to not use cents. I submitted tax transcripts for all three years plus W-2s. When my accountant filed taxes, he rounds them up to the nearest dollar, too, since those are the instructions on the tax form and so they appear that way on the tax transcripts.

I was approved without any checklists.

In part 6, no5, did you write the whole number or you actually wrote cents too?

I wrote the whole number and now I am getting anxiously worried . I don't want to get a checklist just for rounding error.

So i submitted I864 already and noticed that I didn't write the cent at the end. For example, I wrote whole number 30,000 instead of 30,000.20 as listed in employment letter.

Seems like I am going to get a checklist for that!!!

Has anyone received the 60 days message from NVC even though they haven't sent any package to them lately? So NVC scanned my AOS package August 21st and sent me the 60 days message few days later. They Scanned my IV package on September 17th and send me the 60 days message also. I checked my e-mail this morning and found out that they sent me another 60 days message for receiving a package I sent to them September 30th, but the problem is that I never sent them any package on September 30th.

Probably they worked on one of your packet u sent, AOS I guess??

I submitted AOS and IV documents together in one envelope. I called NVC and they said they received one mail from me on 8thof September. Does that mean they have scanned both AOS and IV ??or just the AOS?

I864 requires you to write last three years tax income. My 2011 was below poverty line. Is it going to affect our petition?

as stated above, 30 business days. Apparently now its 60 days for all packages.

Some have had the IV invoiced before that but some have waited 65 days to get it

When u log in, under IV, does it says pay now? or not available?
