      thanks,sorry for the dumb question..but I am finally traveling back to Canada, and worried that all my US documents are in my married name, and my CDN passport is in my maiden name..just worried about crossing the border at Buffalo. I believe if they ask, I will tell them I too, and not a US citizen, not yet anyway..we have a 5 year condition on our Residency....sound ok?

      thanks,sorry for the dumb question..but I am finally traveling back to Canada, and worried that all my US documents are in my married name, and my CDN passport is in my maiden name..just worried about crossing the border at Buffalo.     Finally heading home (TO) to visit my Mom for her 80th..and sweestest husband is coming too....

      thank you..I hope there are no issues at the border,,flying into buffalo and crossing over with my CDN passport..I will bring our marriage certificate and of course, more paperwork just to be safe...and GREENCARD. I miss the snow, but I pray there isn't when we fly and get there for our drive into Toronto

    So got a response from the Senator's office that USICS is going to send my card to production(on Feb4th) still no card after 10days!! Does it really take that long?

    Okay...so annoyed with USCIS...still no green card delivered to me..and now my licence is being suspended bc of it!!!! WHY does everything with them be so hard?!?!?!?!

      oh my gosh, how frustrating...why would they suspend your lic? isn't your AP/EAD sufficient? There is so much bureacratic baloney..

    YAY!! Finally got an e-mail saying they made a descision and I checked the website this morning and it's says Descision now instead of Intitial Review!!!!! How long until I get GC??

      I just rec'd I-797C Notice of Action, my AOS has been approved, Welcome to USA. I should receive my New Resident Card within 3 weeks.

    Called USCIS again and filed a request (My case is over the 180 days of normal processing) so now I wait to hear from them!! LOL

      I called too today, re: EAD/AP, should hear something in 30 days. AOS 1-485 processing time is up to 6 months 2nd Tier Officer told me today, so AOS still within processing frame, but EAD/AP is WAY over!!!!! More waiting
