Did u got Interview Letter in email or just the Interview date.by phone call ..????Coz the representative told me they will be sending me the letter soon,,,,,so I guess have they sent Interview letter to some applicants

Guys..please add me also for CC ..my case was completed just today...
Called to check the status at NVC and to my surprise the CSR told me that my case was completed today and that they r waiting to schedule for an Interview....

NVC Database Temporarily Offline for Computer System Update

The Bureau of Consular Affairs is still resolving technical problems with some of our online immigrant visa forms. This issue is not specific to any particular country or visa category. As part of the solution to these systems issues, the National Visa Center (NVC) will temporarily take its immigrant visa database offline to allow our technical specialists to work on the system.
We will take our database offline at 3:30 pm on Thursday, July 2 through Sunday, July 5. Please note the NVC will be closed on Friday, July 3 for the Independence Day holiday.
What does this mean for immigrant visa applicants? Beginning at 3:30 pm on Thursday, July 2, NVC staff will be unable to access any case-specific information in the database. While our Public Inquiry phone line will still be operating, our Customer Service Representatives will be unable to provide callers with information specific to their case, such as whether we have received your case from USCIS, if we received mail from you, and your case status. We will be unable to make changes or updates to your case, such as a change of address.
We apologize for the inconvenience this will cause. However, the Department of States technical team is confident that this temporary inconvenience is a necessary step toward restoring full functionality to our systems. We expect the NVCs immigrant visa database to again be operational on Monday, July 6 and our Customer Service Representatives will be able to fully answer public inquiries then.
Applicants who have had difficulty accessing Form DS-261 Choice of Address and Agent and Form DS-260 Immigrant Visa Application online, or paying their visa fees online should continue to monitor this website for updates and follow the instructions below. Again, we thank you for your continued patience and apologize to applicants who are experiencing delays.
This is what they have updated today.....So check from Monday...I think every thing should be fine by next week

Well Its good most of us are able to fill DS-261 and pay AOS fees....So there is sumthg happening with the NVC portal...Seem its getting fixed a little bit
What i observe is that most of people are able to pay AOS fees and fill Choice of Agent..but..I havent seen any member able to pay IV fees online after getting invoiced...That includes me too...of course i have sent the payment by money order thru mail last week....
Also i am seeing no one after getting IV fees as paid recently have been able to fill DS-260 form....
If any body is able to do so please inform ....So that other members can try....
Lets hope the web site gets fixed soon and all can go thru smoothly....Good Luck all

This is very strange i have heard about. Usually they ask all docs to be translated in English if the docs r in our native language. Do u have marriage certificate in native language coz i dont think now a days they issue any docs in native language unless asked for specially.....
Which part of India r u from??? I am frm Gujarat and i also hav submitted I-130 but i hav submitted mrg cert in english. They issue mrg cert in guj in english only....

Yaa...GraceA...i already called my Dad and asked him to call today. He will call NVC.... he told me.And i think they will start sending Interview letters from 2day...so all those who will be current in March should get their Interview Letters.
Regarding ur case GraceA...i think if u r current in March then u will get ur Interview letter from Embassy only after March 1st.....this is b'coz u r already interviewed.....so the month when u r current i.e. March the Embassy will send u a letter to renew ur docs, Medical, PCC, DS-230, Tax returns and come on any day....
Well..i wish our F1 moves at least a month...now lets see what happens in next few days....Good Luck Guys....

Not yet.....I asked him to call to day.....he told me he will either call to day or tomorrow....He will let me know. I will inform u immediate as I know. I think later to day I can receive interview letter. Will let u all know as I get that.

Thanks....Regarding USTravel website...u simply have to register ur details and provide document delivery address......After ur visa is approved they will send ur passport and Visa at the address mentioned by u....

Well...just be patient for some more days...u will know how much movement will be for March....Just wait until NVC starts sending I/Ls...

U r right GraceA....i strongly feel i and u also would be current in March VB....And we must remain calm and cool....The most important thing is that they r moving the cut-off date forward....And they already predicted 3 or 4 weeks for next few months...they r doing that only....

Another point i would like to say is that this time NVC started sending I/Ls earlier and most probably they have finished also. Now, they will go forward for Feb Interviews. And this month also they would schedule Interviews even early and before 25 Dec Christmas which is tuesday. The reason why i say so is that whole week of Christmas will be holiday in US up to Jan 1 2013 which is also a tuesday. So, they would rather prefer to complete their work earlier then to finish after Christmas.
So, i would recommend u guys to check ur mail boxes before Christmas week and i hope they do so. Now just waiting fro official Vb to be published.

Hey Pchelula....u always give us good news and this time also u done the same. Unfortunately we dont have any guys with PD between 15 - 31 Dec so it will be difficult to predict exact movement for F1 but then also 2 weeks are confirmed. Now, lets wait for official VB to be published. Seems to me that it will be published next week end till 7 Dec Friday.

Well..so its clear now....F1 will move 1 month for Dec VB to Dec 01 2005...
Also, elections is over now as we know Obama is re-elected as US President...So i think all the storm is over now that affected our category's movement and i think from Jan 2013 VB would move even more i guess may be 6-8 weeks.....
I think we must concentrate abt Jan VB and our frds Interview experiences as we have 4 members in our thread with Dec Interviews....
Congrats to all four and specially 2005oct as u were very worried abt ur brother's I/L...Finally it arrived...
Now, we would be waiting for all ur's Interview Experiences....Best of Luck for ur Interview

Well...i hope now it speeds at least 6 weeks for next few months rather than 1 or 3 weeks movement....
I assume they will come back to Feb 2006 in Jan 2013 VB...
6 weeks for next month and another 6 weeks for next month ....and we can come back to where we all were earlier in 2010...Lets see what happens

Grt news for us Guys who r in F1....well it seems its a roller coaster for us after 2 slow months movement.....2 Months movement is confirmed for now i.e 1 Oct 2005 for Sep VB....lets see how much more it moves until actual VB is published.......
I wish all best for our fellow frds who has received I/Ls for Sep 2012...
Seems they will bring Feb 2006 by end of this year...

U r Correct Dude....Also, they hav Presedential Elections in November of this Year. So they must be engaged in Campaigning and other activities. One thg Obama has done for Immigration is that in this year he passed Bill for Amnesty for Chlidren who were brought Illegal by their parents when they were young and lived for years.....
There is no chance to pass another Bill right now by senate....atleast till November or by next year...
I do agree with Lowdoff as it is a sounding alarm for us...but for any Immigration Bill to pass US Congress is difficult...There r lots of obstacles on way for any Immigration Bill...They just discuss and then the result is the Bill is sidelined by lots of Discussion and arguements....
