I have no idea why I got this particular message... I'm hoping it's just a checkbox unmarked or something ... but that usually means I'd get an RFE message, I think?
I had tons of evidence, so I'm guessing it has nothing to do with that...
I'm in WAC219002xxxxIs the Manila embassy process any cases and doing interviews?

Great news guys I got the email early today.
The I129F submission was received on December 29th, 2020 and the filing was accepted on March 2nd, 2021. The filing will be forwarded to the California Service Center for processing.
Is the California service center faster then the others?

You are a USC, not a naturalized citizen?
Annulment is not needed, and as a USC you should be fine to get married by producing a copy of your divorce decree .. the Recognition of Divorce stuff has been pushed around more lately, just because it has been adjusted to allow Filipinos to use recognition of divorce also .. so there is confusion as to how some LCR (local registry) react to this.
Or you could do the K-1 with ease
Thank you, cheers!

Thank you, I was worried that I would have to have my marriage annulled in the PHILIPPINES. So you are saying that I could remarry in the Philippines or just bring her over with a K-1 visa?

So I am a American citizen and I married a Filipino in the Philippines. We were married for 11 years. She cheated on me and we filed for divorce in the US. After some time I am ready to marry again. Am I able to marry another Filipino? Would I be able to use a K3 visa?

USCIS is aware of adoptions of family members to bring them to the US. It's not allowed unless the child is an orphan.
Thanks for the info I was not aware of this. It doesn't make sense though.... I can adopt any random orphan child and bring them to the USA but not a family member.

If we apply for CR1, will i still be able to fly and enter US immediately and stay there while the application is being processed?
I think you have some bad information. I got married to my wife on February 2009 in the Philippines and she got to the US in August 2010. I applied for both the K-3 and CR-1 VISA.. with either Visa she had to stay in the Philippines until all the paper work was finished. The CR-1 Visa was actually faster.. and it is better in my opinion, because as soon as she got here she was able to get a SS Card and a green card to work. A lot of my wife's friends who are from the Philippines cam over faster then a year but can not get a Green card for a whole year, now they are stuck in the house all day while their husbands are at work... The one said she fells like a princess trapped in a castle all day.
The point is you are going to be left in the Philippines after you wedding with the CR-1 VISA for at least 1 year probably closer to 1 1/2 years. However, once you do get here you are free to get a license, get a job, go to school. go to a library by yourself.
WIth the K-1 Visa you get here 3-6 moths faster but then once you get here, you cant do anything for an additional year! you have the same rights as a little kid.

Your wife needs to become a citizen, petition him and wait about 20-30 years. Then he'll be good to go...
Wouldn't it be faster and overall better to just adopt him and petition him as my child? Your 20-30 year plan just sounds ridiculous, and not well thought out. Thanks for your input anyways, but in 20-30 years I plan on living in the Philippines full time.

I married my wife in the Philippines 8 years ago. She has been here in the USA for a little over 6 years and is not a citizen yet. We would like to know if it is possible to bring her brother to live with us. He is 10 years old now. Is there any way to do this ? I would be willing to adopt him if needed. What do I need to do to start this process? Thank you very much in advance.
Is the U.S Vaccine card good enough for proof of vaccination upon arriving in the Phillipines?

I’m in the Philippines right now I traveled from LAX. I use my digital vaccine card from Walmart. The big thing is you’re one Health pass, they continuously look at that while you’re trying to make your way to getting your check bags. The process of getting off the plane until you’re ready to actually leave the airport is gonna take 2+ hours. They will verify your requirements three times. And it’s very organized like most things in the Philippines.
