Sherry is the "I" on this site. She is older. I think if you are from Mumbai, you will interview in Mumbai not New Delhi. The cases I have been referencing where interracial K1 couples have had issues are all New Delhi. I don't know of any recent sample couples you could follow from Mumbai. However, Mumbai is the embassy with the embassy review that talks about calling the fiance's family in India. You should definitely read the embassy reviews for the past two years there.

I hope it ends soon for you. BUT, you have done some extraordinary stuff...getting your case returned, another interview. I think most people would just give up or would never pursue something this hard in the first place. So I hope this bodes well for your marriage...able to get through anything!

The senator sent the request to the embassy! That doesn't mean he'll get any useful information but at least the embassy will know I've got my eye on them.

I found a form on the senator's website on Monday specifically for requesting help. I faxed it Monday but haven't heard anything yet. I'm going to call tomorrow. This is excrutiatingly frustrating. It's making us both very depressed.

I just sent a request to my senator, Sherrod Brown, to have an inquiry done. We'll see what he says. I went with the Democrat, much better odds of getting help.

I'm just so frustrated that we may not get to spend the holidays together. And he's been offered so many awesome job opportunities abroad that he's had to pass up with no explanation. It's infuriating how long this is taking.

We had our interview on August 3 and we were placed in mandatory AP. So today makes 6 weeks for us...hopefully they don't go past the 60 days the government says the "try" to wrap it up in. Our CO gave us back all of our evidence and said he didn't need additional info, so hopefully this is just a background check.
