They didn't say approved or denied but I think keeping the passport and medical and returning all evidence is a good sign. Clearly they can't investigate any more without the evidence and they intend to approve if they kept the passport. But once again, thinking gets people in trouble! I don't know about the weather, I've only left the hotel once. Turns out, a coworker sneaked over for vacation and is staying at the same hotel. Figures. Now I'm in hiding.

The interview was short and sweet...no issues. We think the "mandatory" AP is an additional mandatory background check for Muslims. Which makes it discretionary, not mandatory, but whatever. They kept his passport and returned all original documents and evidence except the passport clearance certificate and the medical which makes me think we're approved just pending this background check (assuming that's what the AP is for). But people used to think the world was flat so thin...

Still don't know when our interview is, but the medical is done! 7 hours of waiting (so much for scheduled appointments) and 4 minutes of checkup. Whew!

July interview dates FINALLY published, and we didn't get one:( Here's hoping for the beginning of August!

i received my RFE in the mail today and they ask for me to fill out the G325 form for my fiance and photo of me...i thought they would ask for more than that...i have my fiance to send his photo but its going to take 2 wks...should i just send what they ask for or wait for his photo to send as well

My poor Dipu is so stressed. He's having so much trouble trying to get his passport clearance certificate...it seems no one knows how to handle a non-standard request in his state. They refuse to issue without a local police clearance certificate but the local police don't know how to issue one for someone who doesn't live there. Sigh.
