    Absolutely devastated and heartbroken, Hicham was denied the K-1 Visa. After over four years of being together, we are going to be separated as a family indefinitely. We are so sad, and beside ourselves, but will keep moving forward :'(

    We sent in my wife’s green card to fix the residence since date, best estimate is 2/3 months to get her card back, unbelievably slow due to a simple key stroke error. We will see.

      Just got it today. We sent it in in May. 4.5 months. SO FRUSTRATING.

      Same thing happened to us! Residence date was a year too early on GC... we re-sent it in early May with an I-90 and are STILL waiting, both expedite requests denied. :( So frustrating...

    2.5 weeks on AP... desperately missing my husband... can only imagine what others are going thru..as we have only had a small dose of AP....my heart goes out to evbody dealing with this....

    All Newbies Filing for K1 in Morocco MUST submit I-864 affidavit NOT I-134. Im guess according to culture theres no such thing as fiance so u must provide info as if ur already married.

      Oh, lord. I can't fill out the i-864. We'll play dumb and just do the I-134 since that's all our documentation asks for anyway. :( :( :( :/ :/ :/

    I promise I am not an a-hole. I just can't stand fraud. I try to be so helpful to people. I don't know everything, but I know a little and hope it helps some people.

      I think most people who are confident in their relationships who read your posts probably gets this. I think when you say things that hit home and make people wonder about their red flags, that's when people get upset and act like you are an a-hole. It seems clear to me, at least!

    After one week from interview we received the call today, We are APPROVED! That was the longest week of our lives! We want to thank everyone here on VJ for your encouragement, prayers and support and we moved through this incredible process.
