  1. Hi can someone help us we have our noa2 already and this week from nvc with my mnl case number it state there that i have to wait for the packet from the us embassy manila for the instruction.do i have to wait for it?is it the eligibility letter?what will i do now?can i pay at bpi already and sched forcthe interview?thanks for the reply in advance!

no, u don't have to wait for the packet 3. u can now go to BPI to pay visa fee then call or email US manila embassy if they already received ur approved petition. once they do, u can schedule ur interview w/ them via online or phone. I advise to better schedule via phone..easier and faster..:) just ready ur passport because they will ask some info from it and don't forget to have a date for ur medical exam because the customer rep will ask u when are u plan to take medical exam...at least for me, they ask when I planned to have medical exam, I told them the date and they gave me the closest date to my medical exam...:) w/ me I had my medical exam on Aug 22-23 and they scheduled me on Sept 2 for interview and guess what, I just received packet 3 yesterday dated Aug. 12, 2011...wayyyyyyy too late! b-(

    Good luck

  2. Mine's dated February 2011 and my interview is this week already. I live in the province and it will take 1 month to get a new NBI. I'm just praying i will get lucky and the Consul won't question the date of my NBI. :(

I live in the province too, after almost 8hrs of tedious process and long waiting I got my NBI on the day itself but some who I met there, they were asked to come back after 1 month to pick up their NBI...

    Anyways, good luck to u...

    @Chers:

don't worry sis, u will get ur visa soon...I'll pray for u...:)

  3. I needed that annotated MC since I was previously married and went through annulment process. It's as good as divorce papers Philippine style LOL! :P

oh thank u...kala ko meron na ko namiss sa mga documents ko haha...thanks for sharing ur experienced...very helpful... sana maprub din ako...congrats ulit!

  4. Hi. we just got our manila case number last aug19 and the operator said they sent the case to ph that day too. i paid the visa fee yesterday. i tried to schedule the interview today and it says "No service fee can be found for the entered request number. Please validate your request number is correct and you have paid the correct amount for the visa you are applying." I use my passport as my receipt number as what the teller told me yesterday. does this mean my case is not yet in us embassy system? or my payment is not yet posted?pls advise. thank you

Hello. Email USEM first, ask if they already got ur petitions...here's their email address IVMNLAppointments@state.gov...once they reply u can now schedule ur interview, try again to get schedule online. for me online scheduling didn't work so I called their customer support and they gave me my interview date in just 5mins....:)

    Good luck! :)

  5. I Would like to inform everyone that we are approved of the visa last Monday Aug 22,2011  . Thank you very much for all the support and prayers  . I will keep of praying for everyone. If you wanted to know my visa interview experience you can visit this thread... http://www.visajourn...iew-experience/ Thanks everyone! and much much love to you all (L) (L) (F)(L) (L)

yay! Congrats! and thanks for the review...thanks for the link, it will help me a lot for my incoming interview....:)!

  6. Does anyone know if this is still relenvent? My fiancee has an interview appointment set for next Friday (sept 2nd) and can't do her medical until Wednesday and Thursday (Aug 31st and Sept 1st) of next week because her menstrual cycle came and because of two consecutive holidays on monday and tuesday of next week.

Will they still give a sealed envelope to her to take the the interview?

    Thanks everyone so much!

yay, I have the same interview date as ur fiance. and just done w/ my medical exam yesterday. I was lucky though because I got my period as soon as I got home from the medical exam :)....anyways, bout ur question, I think ur fiance better call St. lukes to be certain so in case, u will know what to do next....:)

  7. TJ--Yahoo!! That is absolutely, absolutely great news!! Congratulations for "checking this one off the box" :) and moving another step forward. All of us here, of course, are cheering you on as you approach the day of your interview. Continuing good luck to you!!! --RK and Inday

    Thanks, RK....good luck to u too u...:)

ur right about the medical exam. and as what the other applicants said, undergoing medical exam over here is more dreadful than the interview.....

  8. Congratulations, but makes me wonder, have we ever heard of somebody not passing the medical? I certainly hope not, for their health.

In our case the embassy got the package and sent the instructions to my fiance via email on the 18th. Just got to get her to check her email and hopefully they got her email address right.

yup, 2 of the girls I met there were put under sputum test...they are now undergoing certain test and medications for 2 months.....

good to hear ur visa process is moving.....:)

btw, we finally received our NOA2....I was right, we got approved on 7/13....:)

  9. I thought my anxiety would end when I find out about the interview date. But now, I'm even more anxious, I can't hardly sleep Lol... My head keeps over-thinking, 'bout the medical, the interview... what should I wear, if I will get up early in the morning...and on :crying: ... Lmao

we have the same dilemma, Geor! this experience is definitely a roller coaster ride of emotions!

  10. You can always go back and change it later, but it will help those looking to know that you're not still waiting. I'd just put in the day that you found out about it as the NOA2 date. I went and changed all kinds of dates on my timeline to see what it would do to the estimate and where it would put me on Igor's list, what with my NOA1 taking so long, so you can change it as often as you like!

Okay, I'll do that. Thanks, Thea..:)

  11. My fiance and I both have good looking teeth and I'm a filipina. I wore braces before I met him and wore them for 4years. Also, I see to it I have them clean every 6months...

  12. Nema got her NOA2 today, she's super excited about it. I think she's still sworn off the VJ site until after Ramadan, not sure if she'll come on and post for you, and hate spilling the beans for her if she was coming on, but I'm SO excited for her! I need to go look at Igor's list and see who we still have waiting....

Yup, I'm so happy for her! :) I think she already updated her timeline. :)

  13. ur fiance is still lucky because in some NBI branch, they'll give at least 3 months of waiting which is super duper ridiculous! If I were here, better to get the NBI at their main branch in Manila. I heard it is faster there compare to sub branches in the provinces.....

about the system, actually it isn't new. I think they just back to old way because their contract w/ the IT company they worked with expired and they didn't renew it anymore.....

  14. I'm looking on Igor's list, and so far for March filers, renecherubs has already had NOA2 but not updated, KatRaicha has already had an interview and approved, but still waiting on NOA2 according to their timeline, and tonetzky18 was denied, not sure if denied NOA2 or at interview, as they haven't updated their timeline either. The other CSC people have not been online forever, so I'd say, CSC is done for all the March filers...

Unfortunately, it looks like there might still be 15 people waiting from VSC, taking out all the people that either haven't updated their timeline (Jan and Nema, lol, comeon guys!) and anyone that hasn't been on in the last month. I think it's closer to 6 or 7, as so many people haven't been on and don't post that I'll just be positive and say we are almost done! Good luck to the remaining VSC filers and please please please :time:

I already updated my timeline, just skipped the NOA2 part because I don't know the exact date of our NOA2, still waiting for USCIS to update our case status and send us the hardcopy. I will update it as soon as I receive our NOA2. :) Thanks for the reminder...:)

  15. We hope you will not have to pay those $340. One question, Jan, you received the acceptance of the petition (NOA1 hardcopy) through snail mail or just by e mail?

Anyways, today was your lucky day!

yup, Mari we received our NOA1 hardcopy a week after we received notification via email....we're going to try to contact USCIS again to request for our NOA2.....yeah, indeed, a very lucky day...thanks :*

Zara: Thanks :) Yay! u will be w/ ur honey soonnn! :)

  16. Yes thats amazing Jan, but it kind of freaky that they didn't get you the NOA2 letter. I would post this in the main forum, I've heard its not easy and expensive to get them to send a second NOA2 letter. So you need to make them realize they screwed up and need to send you that NOA2.

I mean if you got a case # you were probably approved at least a month+ ago which means they wasted a month where you could have been trying to get all the documents and paperwork done.

    Good Luck! :dance::dance::dance:

yup, I read it somewhere, we need to pay $340 for the copy when time for us to file AOS...We called them but they said, that was it, we don't need the NOA2 anymore....so we will try again and again til we get a nice and competent person to update our status and send our NOA2....

Thanks all for the congrats and thanks for supporting me and for cheering me up! I won't forget u all! :*:*:*
