Ok I am about to send in my last package which is the IV package...now to those who experienced it or have knowledge on it..please help

ok so I am sending DS 230 form now can you guys tell me little problems to avoid..or common mistakes..for example where I shouldnt miss to sign etc etc.

also sending original documents

birth certificate

police clear

marriage certificate

2 passport picturea

passport copies BIO page and all

may I missing anything?

and should I send in photo copies of the above documents?

and lastly may I good to go?

quick question...our embassy is holding on to my wife`s passport and all documents ...what does that mean?

and also I had a co sponsor problem it wasnt approved so they are waiting for my co sponsor documents but my wife passed the interview? what does all of these stuff mean?? :crying:

I PUT FOR MY WIFE`S ADDRESS AT DHAKA(CAPITAL) CITIES ..BUT SHE LIVES AT THE (HER VILLAGE).... WAS BORN THERE ETC ETC

AND FOR THE I 130 APPLICATION HER ADDRESS WAS GIVEN THE DHAKA`S ADDRESS //NOW I HEARD THEY ARE GETTING A POLICE CLEARANCE FROM HER VILLAGE FOR HER. WILL THIS SUFFICE????? PLEASE HELP THANKS

So I have finished putting my ROC package all together, just need to do my cover page.... It's so BIG though! I mean after I copied all our mortgage papers, joint bills, envelopes to show we live at the same address, etc. I don't think it will fit in an envelope to mail... Can I put it in a small box or is that crazy? Do I need to cut down the size somehow? I don't want to send TOO much but I feel like everything I am sending is what I need to send & don't really want to take anything out...

A copy of the petitions/files sent to USCIS & NVC (to be safe), original of all the Civil documents that were sent to NVC, Affidavit of Support, and anything else that is stated on package 4 - which will come sometime after CC.

1. You are doing the correct thing by re-submitting your current employment letter.

2. You may wish to be a bit more explicit and state that you had no income, not just no W-2s, since income can be derived from sources other than those reported on a W-2. Since you were in school is it possible that you were living at home and your parents could claim you? If so state that. If not state you had no income sources due to your student status.

3. Tax returns or tax transcripts from the IRS are required, not optional, if they were filed. If none were filed for the previous 3 years then you must state this and give an explanation for each year.

Your going to require a co sponsor, You dont have to take my word for it but once your get to the interview

if you dont have one i dont see them issuing you any Visa.

Find somebody to complete the I-864 as a co sponsor and you wont have any problem than.

But no income and student going to make the USCIS worry you can support the person your bringing.

Thats why they look at past IRS tax returns to see if your fit to support somebody else beside yourself.

yeah I already have a Co sponsor his paper work was fine but with my paper work they are giving me problems

Being a student is insufficient for reason of no income. Remember you must maintain at least 125% above the national poverty level. I suggest i864 from a parent or guardian. As a note usually a school will send you a tuition W-2. Not all schools, but most schools do provide a student with a W-2. You should submit your parent or guardians income.

Also i was attending a program called college/ged 24 credits Program so it may be different

I have received an E-mail from NVC about a checklist for I-864 , documents either missing or incomplete it stated,

1).It appears that there is no proof of current employment ( i.e a job letter etc.)

2). The listed income tax documents/IRS statements for the years missing

- Federal Income tax returns [X] 2009

- W-2 forms are missing [X} 2009

3). You have not enclosed an explanation of why you were not required to file income taxes for the recent three years

1). I had stapled my job letter along with the I-864 (AOS) package ( which I have attached along with this E-mail as well )

Currently I am working on that package, The beneficiary`s country is taking a long time on giving Her passport and Police Clearance as soon as I receive the package I will send it in as soon as possible.

Yesterday i have received letter from NVC which stated the following:

"The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support form (I-864) for this case. However, we are

still waiting for the Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230) and corresponding civil documents for each

traveling applicant to be returned to National Visa Center for review. You will find the DS-230 form

along with complete instructions for submitting the civil documentation required for this case at

www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov under the Applicant Document Processing link.

We urge you to send in the DS-230 form(s) and required civil documentation for each traveling family

member in one package to the National Visa Center (NVC). Sending the information in separately may

cause delays in the processing of the case"

I have alreday sent DS 230 on Dec16 2010 and they have received next day.When i call to NVC no one was on the line and today i listen automated message it says NVC has received Checklist Letter Response on 21dec 2010 OR Please allow 6-8 weeks from this date for the NVC to review your documentation and notify you of the outcome of the review.

What does it mean? I don't understand.

Dont worry your good to go... just wait few weeks maybe days who knows their systems are never 100% right and make sure you talk to someone before assuming anything... good luck

If you have sent all the doc with I-864 then u should be fine unless they have lost your job letter. I would suggest you to call NVC and also send the email stating that you were unemployed(explain the situtation.) Samething happened to one of my friend then he sent them a mail stating that he is unemployed and he showed the proof of the umemployement.

By the way when they (NVC) received your I-864 package or when they scanned your package.

Because I sent my I-864 package around same time and AVR says NVC is still waiting for bioghraphic form from the petioner which we have not send them yet.

I believe your AOS has been scanned, this is the reason they are giving you a checklist for submitting DS-230. To be sure of not getting any RFE for AOS, you can call NVC. NVC operator give you best answer.

I am having such a bad day man o man... I received an email from NVC

saying that my AOS package is incomplete they mentioned a few things such as missing ds 230 files which I know because I have not sent that in yet.I am still waiting for the documents from my country.Also they gave me a check list like missing documents...I read through them and funny how everything is there and yet they are saying missing..concerning the i 864 .. like employment status which I gave a job letter..also wanted W2 from 09 but I was unemployed ... can someone shed some light please really getting pist off..hope you guys understand..my country is playing games with my wifes passport and police clearance..and I paid them extra for urgent processing and now I am getting this ####### from NVC.. excuse my lang. guys..

Call NVC and ask them, maybe they updated the payment later in December

and not back in late November. Some times the payments made at once they

receive it but it take them some day to catch up with updating the system.

Tell them know your paid the $404 and or maybe they want the $88 now to.

Have them clarify what they want and make sure you know what they need next.

Better be safe in asking them assumming what NVC saying.

Be sure to ask what fee they are talking about if you already paid the $404 ? ?

I sent my AOS package 2 weeks ago..and NVC has received it..so I called NVC and it says that on DEC 14th they have generated the immigration fee..but I have paid($404) that off already back in NOVEMBER

So why are they saying this now?? or does it mean I have to send in my IV package???? what happens now guys?

I was told for the IV process (civil Documents) I have to send NVC a Police Clearance from the beneficiary`s country ....now do I have to send in the original document or can/does my wife have to take it with her on the day of the interview please I need a urgent reply thank you ...

How did you pay the $88 fee? Though the website? If so, as soon as your invoice status says "paid" you should print the cover-sheet. Then you need to create your own I864 package. Basically, it will include I864 form and various supporting things. If you need to know what to send, post back and we'll try to help. Good luck.
