hi mrkhan actully packet 4 have a different type of document in side the packet just like interview appointment letter medical appoiintment schedule list about authorised medical center and DS-230 PART 1&PART 2 in side the whole packet but lots of people already download DS-230 PART 1 & PART 2 through immigration web site on his computer and then fill all the forms and send to NVC with all original civil document because most of the country postal mail service is so slow and not reliable process that why usa immigration allow immigration people to download any kind of immigration form through govt immigration web site and send to immigration dept

so then I dont have to worry about packet 4/?? since I filled out ds 230 and sent it along with the IV package??

and what about packet 3???

I Don't think we would get packet 3 since we have submitted all our documents at NVC. In Packet 4 we have received Original Interview letter and instruction for which documents we have to submit at VFS office. Also, Information regarding Medical Examination, Photo instruction, and DS 230 Part I and II.

I have submitted DS-230 Part 1 & 2 at NVC. Still i have Received DS-230 in Packet 4 from the consulate. So Do i have to fill out the DS-230 again?

I just received an email from them ..called case #(#############) - std p4 app

just telling us that everything was received and no documents missing..and telling us when is the interview date and all and to bring 2x2 photo and passport also medical results..

now is this packet 3 and 4? or I am still waiting for them???

can some one share their knowledge on what to take to the interview???

Stammering is a painful thing those who go through it will understand ..but if you think it will help you if you inform them about your speech impediment then you should do so.. if but for some odd reason you don't or cant... then just try to stay calm and relax your mind and take your time on answering it helps because the answers should be short that's what they are excepting.

Yes we finish the AOS and the agent and paid the two reciepts. I hope we are good to go already!!

yeah so if your case is completed and no check list has been provided then they will tell you that your case is completed and will inform you with the next steps within 8 weeks or so..i.e interview date!!!!!!!!!

I did not know they did this for the interview. I though the information came from the embassy. Maybe that's just for the finance visas.

I dont know how to post a question so guys if u dont mind.. We just mailed our form D230 to the NVC. and still waiting for response. What is going to happen next? Are we almost there on the interview time line?

did you send in AOS?....and if you did and sent in DS 230 IV package then you have to wait just like I am.. and always call NVC and keep updated until they say NVC case completed

Hello there. Did you sign up to get email updates? Our case was completed on Feb. 14th and we missed the interviewing scheduling for that month. This past Monday night, I received and email from NVC with the appointment date for the interview, list of what to my wife needs to bring to her interview and they also gave us a checklist of what they have received (police cert, birth cert etc...) stating if it's sufficient or needs to be brought to the interview. Previously on many of my calls to NVC, I asked if anything will actually be sent to her house by mail and they said no since we signed up to receive info and updates by email. All she has to bring are more evidence, the medical, her passport, pictures and her pretty self to the interview. I'm booking my ticket this week to go be with her and sit in front of the Embassy ready to do blackflips when she comes out with that smile. Keep calling the NVC. They told me scheduling only takes place during the second week of the month and we received our notice the second day of March. Good Luck !!!

I don't think that the petitioner receives copies of the packets. You may want to have her scan and email you to documents in the packet or fedex you a copy so you can review...let me know what happens as I would like to know as well.

Like the above poster said, now you wait for the interview date to be assigned. You can call the NVC and speak to an operator to see if the case was really finalized and if there is a date set already.
