    hi..how's everybody? its been a long time since ive stop posting here :) i've been busy with my life here in states.. anyway, we just filed joint tax of my husband but we had an issue about the money...cuz he needs to pay taxes.. so we decided by next year we will file tax separate.. is that would affect my adjustment of status next year? i hope not..

      First off, you're not adjusting status next year, you're removing conditions (called ROC here on VJ). BIG difference! And no, filing separately will have no affect. As long as you file as married, USCIS doesn't care if you file as separately or jointly.

      Go to SSA office and you will have your social in maximum 10 business days ;)

    visa received yesterday june 17. POE at SF on june 21 :) to those who are looking for a CHEAP ticket esp. for the 1st time immigrant i suggest RELIABLE INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL SERVICES. :)

      I just waited six days after POE and then went to the office to fill for SSN. SSN have arrived in 5 or 6 days. Good luck.

    22 days before my interview..12 days before our 1st anniversary! wish i could be with him on our anniv :( anyway,we'll be together on his bday!can't wait to be with my honey!!!miss him so much :(

      sis goodluck on your interview.. share mo samin experience mo huh.. :) ako kasi i got problem pa on my affidavit.. may incprrect info na nailagay husband ko..so we will call nvc tomorrow kug ano dapat gawin..sana maging ok ang lahat.. wait na lang ako ng interview date ko,, sana 1st week of june. :)

      mga girls .. sali ako. Just sent our checklist yun ba yung instruction package sa NVC? what happens next? they said to wait for another 20 business days ano na ba CC na ba yun after that? gusto ko naring mag medical. ingat mga girls =)
