I know, I'm really disappointed because going into this I thought it would take 3-6 months for the whole process. Now, I don't think I'll make it out there until November. Of course, I am always hoping that they mean for people filing now it'll take 10months. Like, from April onwards and the rest of us can stick with the old process times. But I doubt it...only time will tell...

Oh, that would be great if you could. Obviously we all want to be with our partners but with such a young baby it seems cruel for you to have to be separated! xx

What do you make of the update on the website...10 months for the whole DCF process, surely everyone would be better off filing in the US who are moving faster? xx
-
Argh! They're moving so slowly!!! xx

Congrats on your approval. I liked your interview review...especially the end when you talk about getting there eventually. I wish you all the best with your move! xx

Oh, well I hope your NOA1 arrives soon. Once you've had the application returned once it's easy to drive yourself crazy thinking something else will go wrong. I've not heard anything, I don't expect to. I sent all the information required and I don't think I'll actually get approval until around May. Things aren't moving very swiftly right now. When does your hubby l...

You must be pretty close to having your I-130 approved though they haven't updated their website in a week it does say 8th Oct. Bet you're excited. Have you got all your documents ready? xx

Don't despair, our application got sent back because of an oversight with his UK residence card. Fixed it and sent it back the next day, notification of acceptance was sent a couple days later. It's easy to get stressed out but really you just want to enjoy the time with your husband and baby before he leaves xx

NOA1 we're on the map!

just waiting to see if the second I-130 will be accepted in London. If not, we'll be joining the many filing in the US and waiting much, much longer

Second I-130 in the mail today, now I'm officially letting go. Either they process it or they don't, I can't drive myself crazy stressing anymore!
-
should get used to these knots from waiting, they are gonna be around for awhile!

Good luck with your application, hoping that the process is swift for us both. No information on your page yet, would love to know a little about you and your husband. Hoping for quick NOA2 xx

I had my husband come over on a finace visa to the UK, of course he didn't like it and now we're preparing to file my I-130. Hopefully we'll file here in London but my husband has to return to America next month to prepare for an upcoming job

You'd think that given the "special relationship" between the US and UK it would be quick and easy. We'll see. The distance is most certainly the worst part, we did it for the first five years of our relationship so I know we'll cope. It'll just be hard after living together for the past two years.
I hope he has a safe journey back to the UK and good luck getting th...

Hi, I thought I'd send you a mesage as I've seen your many posts in the forums. My husband and I are preparing to send in our I-130 in January. At the moment he is here in England with me and has been since Jan 09 but he'll be returning to America next month and we'll file then. Hopefully both our applications will go smoothly and we won't have a long waiting time! xx
