Mine is a dude too and I met him online
-
Me too... Hopefully you wont have to wait for 6 months like us and we're still waiting...
Yeah
Sorry you've been waiting so long. I wouldn't mind waiting so much except I feel very confident that my fiancé will be tossed into AP after the interview.
I think I need to buy a punching bag or something to help me keep my sanity!
-
Yup, you better believe it...Instead of approving one of our petitions that have been sitting there for months they decide to approve petitions that have been there for days only...Really unfair but there's nothing we can do about it...
This is driving me crazy--seriously!
-
I like Skype to Skype calls the best (since it's free), but if I need to phone him, I buy phone cards from Zaptel.com--they just email you the code to your card and the numbers to call, so it's easier than tracking down a good international card at a store!
-
Oh congrats as well
That's great! I hope this week goes passes quickly for you!
I am really excited to go back to Malaysia... my parents are coming 5 days after me to meet my fiancé for the first time
-
Thank you for the useful information! My fiancé just received his Certificate of Good Conduct 2 weeks ago--glad we were able to check something off the to-do list! It took about 10 weeks to receive the certificate after he applied for it.
I'm headed from cold Minnesota to hot Malaysia tomorrow! I'm so excited to see my fiancé again and eat all of the delicious food that Malaysia has to offer.
-
Yay, it's a work day again! I leave for Malaysia tomorrow so I am busy packing and making last minute copies of my initial packet + packet 3 stuff (since I will be out of the US). At least I will be kept busy today + tomorrow, then on the plane for 2 days.
It will be nice to see my fiancé again after 6 months. I am sure it's been longer than 6 months for some of you, though
Here's to hoping CSC approves October filers like crazy this week!
-
Yeah, have a great weekend everyone. I am crossing my fingers that CSC picks up the pace.
-
January approvals? I need to just stop looking here.
-
No touches here since Nov 5
Ah well...
How is everyone doing today? I'm glad the holiday is over!
-
Can I have one?
Congrats!
Unfortunately I can only help you with question 3. I just read on this forum that all NOA2 emails say they are being sent to the consulate, but actually they do go to NVC (just like you thought).
-
Good luck to you! We have nearly the same timeline (as you can see in my signature). We even have the same "last updated" date. I am over at CSC, though. I hope we both get approvals soon.
-
A 10/21 filer approved? WOOOOOOOOOOO! Good luck to all the other October filers. Hopefully we all get NOA2s soon. There should be some kind of priority for VJ members.
-
Yay, glad to see some of the end-of-Sept petitioners are being approved! Hopefully only about 1 month until I get my approval. Luckily I'm packing up and going to Malaysia in 11 days to see my fiance again. I'll just wait there for the medical and interview with him.
Good luck to all October filers! I'm checking every day in hopes that someone from October gets a NOA2
-
Augh I'm closing my eyes to that link!
I'm glad I am finally hitting the point when I feel excited and not sad when I see people posting that they received NOA2. I feel like every person who receives one opens up a spot for my petition to be looked at.
-
Wow medical already, that is good!
I am flying to my fiance's country of residence on March 1st so I can go to the medical and interview with him.
I am predicting AP for us so I'll just there for an extended time if that happens. Finally glad I have something to look forward to

How are all the October CSC filers holding up?
-
She can have her interview in Dubai if she would prefer that.
There is a question on the i-129F which allows you to specify which embassy you would like to go through.

Iran
Male
No

Alright, sorry, my mistake.... sincerest apologies. I was not aware that USCIS would send packages to other service centers. I was under the impression that files from certain states are always sent to CSC and files from other states were always sent to Vermont. My point, though, was to tell the OP that it will not stay in Texas (although your post leads me to believe that it could really go anywhere!).
Anyway, OP.... maybe since there is all this confusion, you should just put "USCIS Service Center" since according to thelastpetitioner it could go anywhere.
As long as you send the file to the lockbox, though, I am certain things will be fine. I cannot imagine someone getting a RFE for an incorrect address on the letter of intent. Congrats on getting the submission point, by the way, and best of luck on your journey.
-
Only California and Vermont process the I-129Fs for K1s. All files are sent to the Texas lockbox, where they are sorted and sent to either Vermont or California. With a couple quick searches, I found out that the Vermont Service Center (VSC) processes files from Georgia. Use their address.

Happy weekend. I hope things calm down in Tunisia.
Congrats to Wael in passing the citizenship test. Glad it went well! I love to come to the MENA forum and see good news.
Sunny--I know what you mean. My commute home on Friday took more than 2 hours (it's normally about 45 mins-1 hour). Minnesota keeps getting just enough snow to be inconvenient.
-
Anyway we can convince CSC that October comes before September? Maybe these new zodiac signs will mess them up...
-
Thank you. I'll be in Malaysia but since I'll be on a social visit pass, I cannot rent anything or have a bank account anyway.
And thanks, by proof of domicile do you mean in the US or Malaysia? If you mean the US, I'll make sure to bring copies of my bank statements and phone bill, since I am keeping my US line active while I am away.
Bad move for future K1 app process?

My fiancé is living in another country too. I don't think the process is changed much at all by this. You can choose which embassy to do the interview at, so she is free to interview at the US embassy of Columbia. You'll just need to make sure she gets a police clearance form/certificate from Columbia as well as Peru.
Good luck!
