    okay, i got notice today that we're schedule for an interview next month. what does that mean exactly? is it for the EAD or the green card? will they send us in the letter if we need to bring anything? now i'm nervous. does that mean he won't get his ead before then?

      His EAD can be approved before his interview, look at my timeline. You'll receive the mail copy with all the explanations. It's a great news!!!

      Don't worry! Most people enjoy the interview and the GC will come faster that way. EAD is still on its own timeline and might come soon.

      I'm just wondering where the interview takes place, I hear we need basically everything that was sent for AOS though. Problem is I'm worried about evidence because the SS office here wouldn't let him get his ssn until he has his EAD, and no bank would let him get a bank account unless he has a ssn, and therefore he couldn't get a drivers license as well. *sigh* so annoyed about that, can't wait to see what this letter says.
