Yi and I met online in the fall of 2005. We struck up a friendship right away. We would chat for hours online, and loose all track of the time. The following summer, I decided to go to China for travel and to visit friends... it's good to have friends in different countries when you travel! Anyhow, I also had the opportunity to visit Yi! When we met in person we hit it off right away, and our friendship became a relationship. We continued our relationship even when I had to return to the US. We chatted, called each other, and spoke online while we were apart. I visited again the next Spring, and Summer. And, in the Spring of 2008 I went to China to be with Yi.
We were married in July of 2009... and have been happily together ever since.
