Anyway, getting a police clearance from 2 other cities she lived for over 6 months is just incase the CO will ask her during interview. That's fine!
You can attach this together with NBI clearance.
-
Yep...here it is:
Note these two parts in the table...you need to obtain a police clearance if:
But NBI covers the whole Philippines.

Congratulations!

Common sense is that you don't grant someone a k1 visa when they are on their second different petitioner within one year. I think that was the concern. Also wouldn't homeland security red flag the whole thing when they see someone getting petitioned by two different people? How did the second petition get to interview so quick? If the first petition was from six months earlier and made it to nvc then it sounds like the second petition was filed at close to the same time right? Why was an interview appointment even made for the second petition or were they using the appointment from the first petitioner? omg!
I recently withdrew my first petition because I found out that I qualified to file direct through the embassy. After emailing and calling the USCIS several times, I determined that the only way to make sure that it would get cancelled was to send in a request in writing. I even questioned what address to send it to and was told over the phone to use the address on the acceptance form. Hopefully the USCIS won't drag their feet too long or we might have the same problem when we go for the interview. If anyone knows more info on this help us out.
If you filed a petition to the same person and withdrew it, I think it wont be a problem. As long as you are saying the TRUTH during interview, you'll never go wrong. Goodluck!

You did it!

no matter how bad your past was,you should tell him about it,if he loves you he will understand, accept and loves you still.
I agree with Mdclary39 and you.. Yes it's true that no matter how bad is your past, we should be open enough to our significant other. ..especially those things that matters in a relationship and the future. Past is past and we cant do anything about it but Learn. Some people deserve a second chance but others don't.
I hope as a petitioner, you'll find out the whole truth and move on with your life. The sun will always shine after the rain!
If this is just a great trial in your relationship, I'm sure everything will work out for you both. Try to talk to her and contact the previous petitioner and ask to withdraw the petition. Another problem here is if she lied during the interview, she is subject to permanently/temporarily be barred to enter the U.S. Interview is a sworn statement...to tell nothing but the TRUTH. If you decide to reopen your case, you may need an immigrant lawyer. All the best!

; Hi Brian!!
I just read your post and I can imagine that this is very stressful for you.
You guys have gone such a long way already, and you'll receive your NOA2 within a month or so. It would be stupid to cancel the K1 Visa Process, where you already paid the fee and other oncost, just because of having a big wedding.
As a girl, I also dream(ed) about my princess dream wedding. But like I said, you have to "roeien met de riemen die je hebt" (I don't know the English saying). Use the tools you have, something like that
.
I don't really understand that she is thinking about herself only. Especially this far on the journey. A year is nothing compared to a life time together? Well, why not adding this year to your lives together, it's a whole year, 365 days!! DANG, I would walk over dead bodies to be with Aaron and can't wait for an other year, like most members here.
It's not fair that she doesn't put herself open to alternatives. There is nothing wrong to put everything on PAPER first and save money (AND BE TOGETHER) for her 'dream' wedding. Instead, she wants to be seperate from you for an other year. Doesn't make sense to me at all
. If you love each other, nothing else matters.
Why a big wedding, if your love counts? Does she wants to make a huge impression to her family/friends? Is that what really matters? IMPOV, not really... It's about you and her.
It's selfish of her, and what if things like this happen in your married future? That only her opinion counts?!
You really should talk to her, deal with this as a couple and tell her that she should considder your suggestion. WEDDING IS WEDDING, it's about the wedding vows, not about all the fancy stuff around it. The fancy stuff around it will dissapear after a day, but your promises/vows will last a life time...
Keep us posted, and remember;
Love is a partnership, not some one way street...

In my case, I overdone this. I made double to triple copies of any documents and I end up bringing 10 inches of documents during my interview!
And guess what? Only half inch of documents were taken from me. Well, its better to safe than sorry/RFE. I've been in 4 countries but they only asked for NBI from Philippines. I think it really depends on embassy you are dealing with. Just prepare original documents along with photocopies during your interview. All the best!

What I did with my wife in China is set up Schwab brokerage and checking accounts and then sent her the atm debit card. I can transfer money to these from my bank account at no cost and she can withdraw money at any ATM in the world. There are no fees from Schwab for this and they advertise that they will reimburse any other banks atm fees to you. So far we haven't seen any transaction or currency exchange fees on the account and we have been doing it this way since August. Beats the heck of of the fees for WU, moneygram or bank wire.
This one sounds great!

Yay!! Congrats to you and your family!
Thank you TheFantastics09! Goodluck on your journey!

Glad to hear that your CO did not ask for any police certificates. I hope that is our case also. I will have Lourdelie go to the Singapore Embassy prior to her interview and see if she can get a Statutory Declaration, if the cost is not too much. Other than that, we are at the mercy of the CO and the State Department since they are the ones that refuse to update the reciprocity table for Singapore.
Very happy for your visa approval.
Best of luck to you and your SO.
John and Lourdelie
Thank you so much again! I wish you all the best on your interview. I think the unobtainable police certificates from a certain country will be given a consideration about the matter. I hope it will work for you! Goodluck and Godbless on your journey!

Hi SimplyMacy. When you went for medical, did you bring your vaccine record when you were a child? Thinking that's why you had only one vaccine. Thank you.
Yes I did! But I only brought with me the certification of the vaccines that i received when i was a baby so the doctor is asking why they didnt put the date of when i received the vaccines. He just decide to give me DTaP and other vaccines were not suitable to my age. I am 29. All the best for you!

Congrats. Better late than never.
John
Thank you sooo much John+Lordelie!!! By the way, what did you decide to do with your Singpore CNCC? Here in US Embassy Abu Dhabi, they didnt bother to take other police certificates. Actually the guy just asked for NBI from Philippines but I offered the Police certificate from Denmark and I also explained about the CNCC and he just said, doesnt matter. He didnt even bother to take the Dubai police certificate. Goodluck on your journey!

no issues flying from PI with ur visa approved/obtained from UAE. (got my visa fr uae and left from PI to US)... the hassle thou is you have to go through the CFO seminar
in UAE medical... its best if you have your vaccination history for comparison. i brought with me my vaccination history since birth and it helped them to see what i had or needed. And if you have time... you can complete your MMR (shots given 2x with months interval) before u leave for US since its so much cheaper outside the US. THe one who will sign for ur I-693 for AOS later will accept any proof of vaccination. If you have done/completed your vaccination, there's no need to do it again anyway. (had my medical @ THe Polyclinic-Deira,Dubai..done in 3 hrs with the result in hand)
hope it helps. best of luck!
Hi JSVP08! I have done my medical at Mideast Polyclinic in Diera. First, I thought that's the polycilinic you are referring to. The embassy just gave 4 lists of clinics for medical and it's one from Al Ain, Abu Dhabi and 2 here in Dubai which are New Medical Center and Mideast Polyclinic. My medical cost 950 dirhams + 150/vaccine shots. I was only required to have DTaP vaccine. And the result is the next day.

Someone got a rejection notice for using an abbreviation. It's better to be safe. I agree with Twocats
-
There's a site the poster can use.. why wouldn't someone at USCIS unable to understand abbreviations..? I'm sure they see it every singe solitary day.
You are right...but the thing is the USCIS personnel are loaded with works. I have read somewhere that someone got an RFE for filling out an abbreviation.

Some of my addresses and answers do not fit into the box - is there a way to change the font size? What do I do if I cannot fit it all in?
If cannot fit, Write * Pls. see attachment. Then, provide a piece of paper and write * Attachment (name of form then Q. 2 for example). Do not abbreviate anything on the form. Other people might not understand. Goodluck!
