Bio is done.........glad I left Gold Bar @ 7:30 am, for my 11 am appt. Sat in traffic on 405 for over an hour with a major accident, what normally takes an hour to get to Sea-Tac, took 2.5 hours. Now to wait.

What is the Receipt Date on your NOA letter? You need that date for the list

I would like to thank all of you as military spouses, for your dedication and sacrifice. My husband is now retired now, but I still think of all the men and women who put their lives on on line for this country. You as spouses here have to deal with another type of battle, the day to day battle of everyday living and sometimes that is as hard as serving overseas. On my appointment letter, it has a list of what they ask me to bring, i'm also bringing the FULL AOS package that i sent them. And also any other papers i acquired in between then and now. Hope this helps. Good Luck on your appointment.
Hi my dear VJ bros and sis!
Anyone has idea what I have to bring to my GC interview in 3rd week of Dec. I have our pre wedding photos, wedding signing ceremony photos at the county hall, our both casual and formal photos with his relatives and friends at home and at vacation trip, our joint bank account checks and statements, my school payment by his credit acc. Anything else? We don't have any other bill such as lease cause we are living with his sister family in 6 rooms house. His sister and bro-in-law is also co-sponsor of my AOS. I'm not sure what else to bring. I need you guys help

From what i'm understanding is you have you've fulfilled your requirements, the 90 day limit of your I-94 to get married, once you marry your US spouse, and then you can apply for the AOS at your convienence. I've seen some people's posts in here that they've waited acouple of years until they could afford the AOS/EAD/AP side of the process. But you can't leave the states until you have the AP or your green card Please correct me if i'm wrong.
Here is our data:
Date of Entry: June 11
I-94 expired : September 9
I-485 NOA : October 5
Number of Unlawful Presence days = 26
Now 26 is obviously less than the 180 days mentioned in the I-131 instructions so I proceeded with applying for Advance Parole. However, with immigration, nothing is certain so I'm having some cold feet regarding using the Advance Parole document.
CBP won't give me a clear answer, and I even made an infopass appointment which I'm not sure if it will be of any help since CBP has final say. I have also contemplated asking an immigration lawyer.So once again, I find myself making a post in visa journey regarding Advance Parole.
We have a plan to visit Japan for New Year, from Dec 26 to Jan 8. I bought the tickets last month with the expectation that Advance Parole would be granted Late November/Early December. The tickets are refundable so I can cancel them if needed.
Anyhow, I'm interested to see what the consensus here is.

august 16, so about 2 months ago and yes i do! i even highlighter it and show my husband.
Then you DO NOT need another full medical, mine was done in May of this yr, and i just needed the vaccinations done for I-693. Good luck on getting them done and finding a CS that will do them for you.

How long ago did you have your medical? If you have the I-693 form instructions, look on page 4, Section 3, #2, C a. Bring that with your forms to the CS and show him, and state that you only need the vaccination rquirements. I hope this helps.

The filing fee is 985.00, plus an addiotional biometrics fee of 85.00 for a total of 1070.00. By filing the I-485, it also inlcudes the cost of the I-131 and I-765 (no need to pay for them if filed with or while your I-485 application is pending adjudication). Hope that help, you will also need 6 passport pictures, 2 for each set of forms.

Oh I am sorry Matt, I didn't realize you are an immigration officer. Sorry about that.
I signed and dated my part of the petition Nov 2010, and my fiancee signed and dated and then sent the full petition in at the end of Jan 2011. We got our NOA2 60 days after our NOA1. USCIS didn't question the length of time in between mine and his signatures and sending it in. Wait until your ready and have all the info you need. It's your life, thats in those papers for USCIS to read and review.
