I emailed the embasssy because the visa still hasnt been sent out. they emailed me back letting me know that his visa is in the final stage of processing and as soon as it is printed it will be sent to the DHL courier. what is this suppose to mean???

Ok ....fren im glad u heard somthing fr them... Omg i knw how u feel....! Question! Is it true that u can pay extra at the time of the interview wen u pay the dhl fee so u can express the visa .. 4 pickup or delivery ! Some1 said they did that .. Dnt knw wat country they were fr! Gud luck fren ... Stay blessed !

Was there a Jamaican holiday or something. Ray has been approved for a week now and still no visa and DHL site says shipment on hold. i'm trying not to freak out because i've seen where some say shipment on hold but get there visa within 7-10 days!!!

Ray got the Non-Impediment form, I CANT BELIEVE IT ACTUALLY CAME!!!!! he wouldnt tell me results yet he wanted to wait until he got out the cab because he didnt want the phone to go out while telling me but he sounded very happy!!!!!

he applied for it 2 weeks ago and paid for the expedite service and yesterday they told him they would deliver it to him at the embassy at 830 this morning since it wasnt there yesterday when they told him it would be. so i'm expecting the worste and hoping for the best

Hey VJ Fam, my fiance' has everything but the non-impediment, how bad is this looking for us? it was suppose to have been back and he still hasnt gotten it yet. can anyone tell me what i should do? should he go to the interview anyway or reschedule?

Hey VJ Fam, i see that i need tax returns for the interview, my interview is April 21st, if i dont file 2010 taxes in time will it be an issue or can i just send my 2010 W2 form?

I really dont know for sure. But technically, since the deadline to file this year isn't until the end of April, you could probably get away with showing most recent years taxes. And I would suggest you bring the most recent couple of years. Also, if possible, get a letter from your current employer showing how long you've been employed and your current salary. That should suffice.

Hey JA VJ Fam im in need of some help. Does anyone know what type of mailing system the Jamaican Embassy uses to send out Package 4? Last week I emailed them a copy of the DS230 and i still havent seen a reply. The mail in Jamaica is so unreliable and i dont wana miss my interview date. Can someone please shine some light on my situation and tell me is there anything i could possibly do. Today i also emailed them asking them to email me package 4.

...i hear they can take up to 60 days but dont quote me...it takes abt 3 months from jamaica receiving file to interview date by my research so i dont know girl but there's always hope...
