You can apply for AP (Advanced Parole). This will allow you to come and go until you receive your green card. Once you receive your green card the AP is no longer valid and you will use the green card.

A copy would be fine but it does have to be on the company's stationary.

Greetings,
I just got engaged earlier this month and I am about to file for the k-1 visa. My fiance is from Nigeria and I am thinking of what I should include as proof for my petition. I barely call him because we both have blackberry's but I do travel a couple of times a year to see him. I was thinking how many photo's should I submit for the petition ?... Please all the help is appreciative !!!

You want to send proof of an ongoing and current relationship. For the petition you only need to send a few pictures. You'll want to provide more pics at the interview stage with you and family included. Also phone records since the relationship started. Emails or letters can also be provided. This is only the petition and generally most petitions are approved. Once you are at the interview stage that is when you really need to prove yourselves.

My fiance arrived in the U.S. on 12/13/11 on a K-1 visa. We got married on 12/30/11. My i-485 for my wife & another for her 15-year-old daughter were received by the USCIS on 2/17. (Also, 325, I-765 and affidavit of support for wife and her child.) I received a notice of receipt about 5 days ago, saying that the applications were being processed. The two checks that I sent were cashed.
Several questions. 1. The K-1 was only valid for 90 days. Does my filing of the I-485 toll the running of the time on the K-1 or in some other give my wife the right to stay in the U.S. 2. How long should it be before I hear from the USCIS about their decision on the applications that I filed.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
JD
Once you enter the US you have 90 days to marry and file for AOS. Generally takes 3 months for approval but may take longer.

It's really simple. If you have any questions you know who to ask.

Congratulations!

Wow indeed, congratulations!

Just as it states your application is being processed. Generally takes about 90 days but I have read recently they are taking longer.

hello everyone! Just need a little assistance here!
I will be submitting a I-130 with the intention of K3. I had gone to immigration yesterday just to have my packet looked over and make sure everything that was needed was included. I was told by the immigration officer that I did not need to include any phone records, pics, emails etc at this time . I do have a letter from my bank listing my husband as beneficary to my account so I am not sure if that is why he told me I didnt need any sworn affidavid. I just want to make sure that everything is included . Any assist you can give will be greatly appreciated.
Phone records and pictures is what the CO was interested in for us. Didn't really look at our emails and IM. However, I would be prepared for anything. It doesn't hurt to gather as much evidence as you can to prove your case.
