After 26 minutes of the line ringing, a lady answers and tells me the case is still under admin review, it can take 2 mo, 4 mo, or 2 years... I ask for a consular officer, she transfers me to her supervisor, a paki male, told me it's admin review, my fiance has a common name, it's a security issue, the results could come in 2 hrs or up to 2 years later... Thanks ISL.
called my fiance, he happened to have called the embassy himself a bit earlier, the lady told him the same thing, and that they would call him when they are ready to move forward... my SO was having a bad day yesterday anyways and the embassy's response didn't do too much to lighten it up, so he was irritating me and I kept the call short... I think he needs a Dood wala reminder... AND I don't think he really understands that I'm not just trying to shut him up when I tell him that there are plenty of others who have gone through much longer, grueling timelines than us, and that I was mistaken when I intially thought this would take 6-7 months and he's got that stuck in his head.... his frustration doesn't do much for my patience level but what to do??? Insha'Allah this test will come to a positive conclusion very soon

I certainly feel your pain, but remember we are human we are impatience about everything in our life. There are 2 kind of things that happen in our daily life.
1) Things happen the way we antisipitaed and then 2) Things that don't happen the way we antisipated.
Both are done by the will of Allah (SWT), we can't change them to be done in our favor, so why bother to be impatience. its gonna happen the way it has written in our faith. But remember Prayer changes things. So be positive and keep on praying to Allah (SWT), never ask Allah that you want thins thing to be done this way or that way or you don't want things to done this way or that way. Just pray to Allah that you are my protector, and do what is better for me. leave everything on Allah. Basically if you pray like this, Allah will do what is better for you. This Verse is from Sura Muzzammil:

(He is) Lord of the East and the West: there is no god but He: take Him therefore for (thy) Disposer of Affairs.
basically it means that you chose Allah to be ur defender and protector and believe in his oneness. Its a simple equation....
We all know Allah is the one who feed all human beings and take care of everyone's matter. still we ask Allah please do this for me and please give me this and that.....It simply means that we are greedy for something and we force Allah to give us all these wordly things. Lets say if Allah gives us those things and they turn out to be bad for us, we get hurt, then who we blame: Allah (SWT). We forget that it was us who begged Allah for it. So the best pray is to leave everything on Allah (SWT) and pray to him this way;

When you pray to Allah (SWT) with these intentions, Allah will protect you and give you those things that will never harm you. And keep faith in Allah no matter how bad or good life you are living. Just remember anytime you ask Allah, "to give you what he (ALLAH) thinks is better for you".

Did your husband receive his passport+package? Sometimes this Amex/fed-ex folks don't call on time. Make sure your husband keeps calling them on daily bases. Let me know if he receives his package.

Javed called the embassy last night. they said they recived the file for our CR1 on tuesday. Javed asked them does he have to interview again? they said "NO" that they received all the information that they needed. they got everything from ME and from Him. he asked them where they gonna send a packet for him- they said "NO". they will contact him in 2 weeks MAX. they said it could be in 2 days but in 2 weeks max. they asked him if he has the brown token he said yes. and they verified the number. they said the Case is right now on the desk of the CO.
I am hoping as well that finally this dubage is over and Bingo will be home with his Bingie!!!
Insha'allah it'll happen. Remember its GOD who decide these things not us. When his time will come to enter US, no one will be able to stop it...not even a CO. So just pray to Allah and have faith in him. everything will be alright.

We all need to remember these things, these are basic things but we forget them so easily. That its Allah who has wirtten everyone's fate. What will we do at what time and where we will go when. All we could do is try and if it meant to happen (only by the will of Allah) it'll happen. These CO's can put objections and run an AR all they want. Its not US embasy who decides who can and who can't go to USA. So give all of your attention to Allah...

Well, he had the purple sticker from his original interview in November. He told them that since he was in ISL (he lives in Karachi - but had to come back for a 2nd interview) - please just give me the visa here. They said no, and pointed out to him that he had opted for the AMEX at the interview and that they were not giving visas out of the Embassy - he would have to have it mailed (so back to Karachi he went
). The lady told him should be there by Friday - inshaallah...woow the embassy told him 3 to 4 days, embassy told my brother 7 to 10 working days....hmm wonder what happened there

.....My brother was very relief,,,he has been waiting for it since 1984....actually the entire families petition was filed in 1984, we came in 1994 but he couldn't come with my parents due to his age (over 21 kids can't come, he stayed there with my 2 other sistes who were 26 and 22...one of my sister was 21 years and 4 days old but they didn't approve her)...then my dad filed his petition in 1994, and now his visa is approved it took another 12 years for him to be approved....

Thanks, its not an issue, its just that US embassy ran out of VISA stickers which is normal. they said we can't issue the visa right now but we will give you a purple sticket which you need to show to fed-ex to receive your visa. They said we should be receiving visa sticket within couple of days. I think they have been out of visa stickers for a week or so. I think it'll take them a week or two to mail all the passports+visa package to all the folks.

Matter of fact they didn't stamp his visa, they were out of VISA stamps (stickers), they told everyone who was approved that US embassy will receive VISA stickers within a week and then your passports will be mailed via fed-ex. For menawhile they gace my brother a Purple sticket which they said show to Fed-Ex folks to receive his passport. So atlast his long AR journey has ended. Does anyone have experienced the samething? has anyone's relative was told similar thing lately. My brother was saying everyone was approved for visa had the same purple sticker.......

The Hubby was there on Tuesday (2/21) and they told him the same thing. Approved but no Visa's at Embassy! So he is waiting for Fed/ex or Amex or something any day now too!

I knew I could get my question resolved fast. I am writing a paper for class. I wanted the correct name for prayer. they have it listed in the book 2nd piller pray 5 times a day.
the question was the second pillar of islam- what was the correct name?
Prayer is called Duas or Salat.
Duas is name of doing the prayers and salat is the action of bowing down on your prayer rug and going thru the motions.

I have seen public debates with many christian scholars who spent their whole life looking into bible. They admit yes there is an error in these different versions. These are not confusions, these errors are clear as crystal. One author of the bible says one thing and the other author says something completly different thing. Who is right? For sure if YOU want to meet GOD you should look into it and see why so many different opinons? how could it be word of GOD? Does GOD want you to be confused about these things? Surely, these are man written things which has an error. Why don't you print this and take it to your local church and ask the father to explain it to you.....

There are people of the book...there are some christian and jews who goes against old and new testment and they go with orignal Taurait an Injeel. CAVALRY OR INFANTRY?
Compare the two quotations on page 40. How many chariot riders did David slay? Seven hundred or seven thousand? And further, did he slay 40000 "HORSEMEN" or 40000 "FOOTMEN?" The implication in the conflicting records between 2 Samuel 10:18 and 1 Chronicles 19:18 is not only that God could not discern the difference between hundreds and thousands, but that He could not even distinguish "CAVALRY" from "INFANTRY!" It is obvious that blasphemy masquerades in the Christian dictionary as "inspiration!"
700 or 7 000?
It is certainly naught for Bible-lovers' comfort that a whole nought (0) was either added to 700, or subtracted from 7 000, thus making the confused Biblical Mathematics even more confounded!*

GOD CONFUSED BETWEEN "CAVALRY" AND "INFANTRY" ?
As for the "inspired writers" of the Bible not knowing the difference between "footmen" and "horsemen," is all the more serious because God himself here stands accused, as a source of that "inspiration" for not knowing the difference between cavalry and infantry. Or is it possible that the Syrians who fled before Israel were centaurs (i.e. a race of creatures with the body and legs of a horse and the torso, head and arms of a man), is it possible that these "creatures" had suddenly stepped out of Classical Mythology to bemuse the all too gullible authors.

He never had Aids, he had HIV+. he caught it in early ages so he is treating it so he cna live for as many years he can. , There is no cure for it he can minimize it so it will remain as HIV...its a virun in your blood, even he recycle all the blood he will still not be able to cure it unless there is a treatment of it. which i don't think there is yet...

I dont deny that the lord jesus christ is my saviour and it is shown throughout history that god has created miracles<<< how ever you spell it, Even though the bible it shows that people have been healed from there sickness without god in the pressence.

According to book of Matthew 1 verse 15: Jacob was the father of Joseph who suppose to be the father of jesus (christ)

that Heli was the father of Joseph who had a son called jesus...
now who was Joseph's father? Heli or Jacob????
