Does anyone know the customs form number that they give you on the plane before entering the U.S.? I want to pre-fill a copy out for my wife to have on the plane, then she can just copy the info over to the original, so that she won't have any problems.

Thanks! How do you know if they have scheduled the interview? Will the AVR update when they have done so? Also, I keep reading posts where people are calling the operator to ask about interview dates. How long should I wait before calling?

Our case was completed Sept 1st. Yesterday I recieved an email from the NVC saying that the case has been forwarded to the embassy and they told me the interview date in the same email.

Well, still no SIF but I called today and the case was complete one Sept 1st. I was told to call back in the second week of this month for an interview date in October. Good stuff!

Yeah, it was the ds230. I wasnt aware that my wife had a national and an international passport. I sent the national copy the first time.

I resubmitted an RFE to NVC. Its been 4 days since they recieved it. Any idea how long it takes to CC?

Interesting, we were married in Tiraspol. I'm in Bendery now. I like transnistria/prednistrovie compared to kishinev. Nice and quiet, not to mention alot cleaner. The Moldova/Transnistrian border is a bit of a pain though.

My wife didnt scan anything. All she done was type her name and date in the fields and sent to nvcinquiry@state.gov

She recieved the acceptance notice the next day.

I assume the NVC has reminded you that they want the originals. Might wanna start recollecting all those originals now.

My wife uses another woman's name for yahoo messenger,and it didn't raise any questions,at least at the USCIS stage. I think they can understand "wishful thinking" and understand that this is just what some people do.

Just got off the phone with them. Took around 3 min for an operator. Hello, and whats your reciept number. So have that ready. Nothing on file yet, and said check back within two to six weeks. I'll call in a few days.

I would assume by priority date printed on NOA1

Im pretty sure the priority date does not apply to IR/CR1 filers. I think that has more to do with visa availability for K -1 filers

OK, I mailed my I-130 Today (finally!) .. So I am either a late Febraury or an early march filer.. Do we measure by the date the I-130 was mailed or the date NOA1 is received?

Looks pretty good. The NOA1 date that I posted is actually the date in the upper right hand corner of the hard copy. I recieved the hard copy on feb 13th, but the main focus is on the notice date.

After sending the I130 form, what form needs to be sent in and when? and whats the cost of it.

Just sent our I130 form off. He sent first class, but he didnt get tracking like i said! Filed 25th of feb.

Anyone been told how long febuary filers are expected to take? i would have thought feb is a quite month to file (well at least it is after they have done all there backlog of july/aug filers).

I just plan on a 5 month wait and try and forget about it. I did have one "touch" already, but I expect a few of those so.... I'm going back to Moldova May 10th until August 3rd. So, I should know something while I'm stil over there. NVC paper work ready and waiting, so no delays there (at least on my end)
