  1. Congrats all of you who got Noa2 and approved k1s!

I'm still stuck waiting on my fiance's flipping passport renewal...what a waste of time, i wish he caught it sooner. Uk's passport renewal is backlogged and only working on December, and he sent it off in Jan. :s it's like Vermont all over again!

Least I got all my documents all in order. //sigh

    Oh no!

    Such a shame!

Sorry to hear you still have to wait a bit more...

  2. We have waited almost SEVEN MONTHS and until now we don't get a positive response everytime we call them. They said waiting for almost seven months is still within their normal processing. What the hell they are telling? :o

    Within normal processing time????

    Is this a joke! Ridiculous!!!

I wish you all to get there quickly because afterwards things go relatively faster (depending on your consulate) and thank God for that!

  3. While I'm sorry for what you're going through Al, I personally don't believe it's right or a good idea to air out all the dirty laundry of a relationship to strangers on the internet once it's over. It's not going to make you feel better. It's not going to fix anything. It's simply going to get responses that you don't want to hear/read. If my fiance did to me what yours did to you, I'd cut them out of my life, thank my lucky stars that I dodged THAT bullet before I moved my entire life for him, and wash my hands of the whole thing. I'd be upset and betrayed, but the internet is not where I'd turn to for comfort. Nor would I feel the need to plead my case to a bunch of strangers about how I was the good guy. It's just not important.

    I completely agree with Coconuts

  4. You should stop 'doing the math' using Igor's List as the most trustworthy source. Take my word for it: Feb. 11, 2011 - 3 petitions, including a Sept. filer, on Igor's List. Checking USCIS receipt no. of a friend and rec. no. to her left and right, I discovered other 20 NOA2s for Sept. 1 NOA1. Stop making these assumptions based on Igor's List. You're going to annoy yourself even more. That, my friend, is not only useless, but also unhealthy for this process!

    Well said Ella!

Were you referring to my case number ^^??

  5. i think a few just got approved...according to Igor's list. i am doing some research to see how far down the list most of us are. So far I have deciphered that Mel1990 is 70th on Igor's list for what it's worth!

I moved up from being almost 450th to 150th in only two weeks! holla! Ella and Octav look in good shape too at 103.

idk if any of this matters, but i like lists and i like to see myself moving up those lists!

Where is the list you are referring to? I' am post the 5 months mark...but hanging in there

  6. Oh puleeze spare me. As a taxpayer, US citizen, and fee payor, I have the right to expect equal service. It has nothing to do with backbone, conviction, blah blah blah. I don't expect to be put on the backburner for an indefinite amount of time nor do I need to "find" another spouse because they are putting emphasis elsewhere. IF everyone was processed equally then you would hear no complaints from me BUT to accept someone to be processed in 10 months and another in 2 months yet pay the same fee is unacceptable. Yes, we can only vote people out of office but the bottom line is I have the RIGHT to say what I want. Patience is nice but so is equitable processing. And for the record, I would live in another country for my fiance if it came to that. The question is would you?

    BURN!!!!!!

    Loved this reply!

  7. makes me wanna :girlwerewolf2xn:

    hahahahaha that's a good one

They're working on those damn Temp. Protective Status visas at the moment since they had a major backlog on them. So...hopefully once they finish or are almost finished doing those, they get back onto the K-1 Petitions.

    From here: http://dashboard.usc...e=6&charttype=1

Looks like they had 112,000 I-821 (TPS) petitions in September, 114,000 in August. Says on their site they have done 84,000 so far in September and 70,000 in August...hopefully they will be caught up enough within a week or so to get back to pumping out I-129Fs because they are behind on those now.

Btw, seems I-821s have a 'Finish/approval goal' of 3 months, which might be why they moved onto them.

    Thank YOU!!!!
