I'm worried now...he just got his notice today for the GC interview...after approval he is going home for a visit....

    Am I considered a us citizen or a citizen alien on tax returns since I entered on a k-1 and overstayed?

      We are filing with h&r block, and on the forums it says ... Is not a us citizen or resident alien and then I could check mine or Brandon's name

      That's weird because the 1040 itself (the tax form from the gov) doesn't ask about immigration status at all. You are a resident for tax purposes because you reside here even though you aren't a legal permanent resident yet.

      Thank you, i thought it was weird because the difference between being a us citizen or green card holder and being a resident are so huge it's impossible to address both in the same option

    It was all good until Friday. A house exploded over a propane leak. A lady died and three got injured. I just honestly wanna get away from this place now. Thank god we are supposed to move within three monthsish

      Yeah I'm fine, it was just horrible and we weren't even among the ones that wt to help. They were new here too, and the lady was home alone

      Propane leak. Where we live it gets extremely cold at night, pipes freeze and thaw within less than 12 hours, so it was a ppe line problem and a short coming from the housing and the management.I'm upset. My husband is base maintenance so he was the one who got to check our propane line after the accident. If I didn't trust him I would left right then and there
