We didnt' send ours electronically but we sent them on april 18th and they arrived april 19th and CC and final review done by May 3rd...LOL we thought it was May 4th but the AVR says May 3rd now in que for an interview in June....they tried for the last week of may but they couldnt get him in then...

    I sent IV documents electronically 3 weeks ago and the AOS (RFE) 1 week ago. Just called NVC and nothing has been reviewed so far.

    Just got off the phone with a polite lady who says my case is complete today. NVC inconsistencies are just making me :rofl::rofl::rofl: now, she said interview dates are scheduled during the first two weeks of the month so i should call back next week or wait for an email. I know this is just part of thier script as a lot of them say second week of the month and i know for a fact Saylin's interview was scheduled towards the end of the month.

    Ha, as i type i just received the CC email. Isn't that cool.

    Now more waiting..as usual :clock:

    I'm guessing its taking NVC 3 weeks now to look at packages. Maybe they are getting busier now and thats why things went crazy for some of us.

    I called NVC to check the status on the AVR, and guess what, nothing, nada, rien...after entered my case# the AVR tells me if I have another case to check to enter the case #, it tell nothing about my case, but still telling the same old story for my daughters case. Then I had an operator who told me I was going to receive a letter, she refused to tell me what was it about. Then I called DOS and the visa specialist asked me why didn't I contact the Embassy, I understand nothing of this big S*******

    Do you know anyone who had the same message?

    Can you help me trying to understand it?

    Just 2 weeks ago I was saying NVC is working like clockwork. They were looking at packages 2 weeks afer receiving them. Now they are messing up left and right. I don't know what to say. Saylin's right, call a couple of times more and see what other operators tell you. I believe as long as you are either the applicant or the beneficiary, they should be telling you what's on the letter. Since your child is under 18 you are the parent and they DO have to tell you.

  4. I got the same email after sending in all my docs electronically twice. It is a false RFE as they have not yet checked your docs and put them in the system yet. Dont worry they have not lost your email. Most email correspondence from NVC is generic even when it is signed by someone. The only time when you might get a personalized email from a 'true' person is when you have a 'true' RFE. They basically receive your email, send an auto response signed by someone and when they start to review your case this checklist auto generates as this is the normal procedure to request your docs. then they go into their system to check if it is there before liking the received docs to our case. Being on VJ makes us way faster so we receive requests after we have already completed them. The day after i got this email i got a real RFE for a doc i left out but i had already spoken with an operator who had told me about the RFE so i had sent the doc even before receiving that email.

    What i would advise for now is to call an operator on Monday, and ask for the status of your case. They probably will tell you this checklist has been sent and these docs are still needed, then tell them you had emailed the docs already and they probably will tell you to wait 20 business days bla bla bla. If otherwise you can resend the docs.

    My view of things tho, every case is different. :thumbs: Good luck.

    You lost me half way through :D hahaha but from what i Understood yes you are right. We are way ahead of the game. NVC responds way slower and since we are way faster thats where things get complicated. For someone who has not sent any documents to NVC, I suggest sending the AOS and the IV packages at the same time to get less headache if there are any RFEs. If you send the 2 packages a week apart and start receiving RFEs than thats when the confusion starts. :rofl::rofl:

  5. Yeah, I got responses on both of them that they were received and being processed. I guess someone just dropped the ball completely.

    This happened on all three of my cases, bleh. Im going to add case numbers to top right since its in bold. But this will be a ###### ton of printing and rescanning.

    Thats a downer.

    I had put case # on all of my IV documents that I had sent on April 18th. The following day I received a response from thhem that they had received my email. 5 days later I received a checklist response cause the IV wasn't entered into the system and they had no idea that I had e-mailed them the package already. I re-emailed just to be on the safe side. I don't think writing your case numbers on each of the documents has anything to do with you receiving a checklist response. I'm sure you sent the barcode page so that alone should be enough since the whole package is in 1 file. I think either NVC has slowed down last couple of weeks or they are losing our e-mails.

  6. Jeez, NVC seems to be really messing up lately. Since you initially emailed the IV package on 4/18 and according to the operators, they still don't have it, I'd suggest sending it again. When I had to re-send my packages, I made a note in the email of the date and time I initially emailed the package. As long as you don't email the package every day for 2 weeks, I don't think NVC minds if you email the package again. I would suggest doing it today, don't wait till Friday. It won't hurt your case, will probably help it as it doesn't seem they got your initial email.

    Thanks will do. I will call later on and if they still don't have it than I will e-mail again today. But I did get a reply that they had received the e-mail. So I wonder what they say for e-mails lol I mean they can't say its in the building lol maybe they say its in the servers :rofl:

  7. What should I do? Should I resend IV documents again?

    4/18 IV Documents e-mailed

    4/19 Received RFE checklist for AOS

    4/23 Received checklist for not sending IV documents (cause they didn't get around to checking what I had already sent)

    5/2 e-maled RFE response for AOS

    I have been calling everyday and IV documents are not in the system yet. Should I email them again with the new checklist barcode? I am thinking I should wait until Friday and if its not in the system I will e-mail again. I just don't want to confuse them with multiple e-mails. Any thoughts?

  8. *headdesks* Finally found the problem; don't use deposit slips to get the routing number. :hehe:

    I don't know how other banks do it but Bank of America has 3 routing numbers. One for checks, one for electronicaly like at NVC, and one for wire transfers. So I always use the electronic one when I am making transactions online. If I had used the routing number on the checks for NVC payment it wasn't going to work. The routing number on deposit slips should be the same as the ones on the checks.

    I didn't know they were going to ask for DS-230 as we submitted DS-260 online. So it pays off to fill out the DS-230 in advance. So I guess we do need to provide employment and educational info after all. Thanks for the tip. You were the first one there but Minted7 came as a couple so I guess couples have priority thing continues. I'm just glad everyhting went smoothly for you. Congratulations to you and Ben!

  10. I don't understand how you can call in every day to NVC asking for updates. I gave it a full week before calling in and they yelled at me that it hadn't been 20 days and to stop calling till it had been.

    I hear you. I try not to call too much but called 2 days in a row and when I got the 20 days BS I leeched at the operator that I know a dozen people whos packages only took 2 weeks and I told the operator to please just look into your system if my IV package is there or not. But next time I call on Monday and before the operator asks me when I sent the package I'm just going to straight say please I know you're told to tell me to call 20 days after sending my package, although it only has been 2 weeks since I sent mine, could you just look into your computer and tell me if my IV package is in your system or not? Thank you. :devil: Lets see if the operator is going to be able to add to that or not lol.

Ok I have a quick question....we have been getting emails from NVC for everything at this stage...today I called teh auto at nvc and it says we have an RFE listed for financial documents that are missing etc..so i called back and got a human....LOL he actually said to me...get this...you seem very nervous why would you be so nervous about this is something wrong?? LOOOL

    So i explained that yeah I am nervous..i havent seen an RFE email sent yesterday and the RFE is saying missing financial documents...he said oh yes...we have the ds230 and thats fine no probs with that but we do not have the AOS package...I said well..I sent both at same time and they were signed for at same time at nvc..he asked me if they were sent in same package and I said no, they went to diff dept so I put in two packages and they were both signed for...

    so he said then they are in the building but maybe a step behind the ds 230...in getting into the system and reviewed...

    My question is...do I just sit and wait? not really sure what to do ...although I guess i cant do anything anyway this weekend but still... grrrr :(

    You can relax its in the building as they always say :rofl: give it a couple of days,, call Monday and Tuesday,, When they receive a package they send a response that a package has arrived but they don't look inside and thats why they send false RFEs,, so just igone the RFE for now and relax and enjoy your weekend
