I have a question the big age gap is a problem lifting conditions even you marriage is real?

Hi all,

I submitted my I-751 application to remove conditions on my GC back in October 2013 to VSC (got transferred to CSC in late November 2013). Now, my lease is up on Feb 20th and I have to go on an overseas assignment for four months in late Feb too. I was thinking of changing the address to my mother-in-law's address (and her name in C/O field). Will that raise any flags and may result in a potential RFE? (we submitted tons of evidence with our application though). Also, more importantly, any idea how long does it take to get the address updated in USCIS system? I want to avoid a situation where they mail me at the current address long after the lease is up and it gets undelivered because I-751 cases don't typically get updated online from what I heard. What will be the best way to change the address? Online through USCIS website or AR11 form(?)?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

I missed the biometric appointment! What to do now? It was for 27th at El Monte.

Sorry to hear that Mike. Call them tomorrow and tell them the truth that you just found it between your mail. I am sure that they will reschedule it. It happens don't worry too much about it. But do tell the truth they will be understanding.

PCC = police clearance certificate

If you do have to sign up, is there a confirmation page or something? If so, I'd suggest bringing it to the interview as well. For Canada, you're not allowed inside the consulate without 3 things: passport, interview letter, and DHL confirmation.

Wait and call. I suggest you start calling on Monday and every day after that.

And no, SIF (sign-in fail) no longer occurs. The ONLY way you'll know your case is complete (without waiting for the interview letter) is by calling NVC and asking.

Remember, only those doing EP get the case complete email!

Shoot, that's right. I forgot Mexico doesn't have PCCs!

If you want to track your case, you NEED to call NVC and ask them if your case has been sent out yet. If so, what date.

I found one going to Montreal, Canada with the ref using the 16th. The tracking number is 8832951374 and it arrived on the 20th.

I also found one using the ref with the 15th. Tracking number is 8816029460 and it arrived on the 17th.

you're right! I should have chose destination as Canada, I didn't before and it was only giving me a partial search

Congrtas to all who passed their interview. I had been away for a while. I will be flying to Montreal for my wife's interview which is on Monday. I checked the DHL website to track the package but I couldn't find it. AVR says it was mailed out to the embassy on June 16. I checked the whole week but I didn't see any packages mailed to Canada between June 13 and 17. Maybe I didn't check the right way. I am suppose to put EXP 16 JUN 2011A right? i played around with the date but no luck.

I got interview date today for July 18 but might re-schedule if I can't make it.

Ok this seems a bit odd but the day after CC on the 14th I got an interview date of July 18. I am shocked it was sooner than I expected. Kind of cought us off guard lol. We might re-schedule if we can't make it.

I usually just stay in the Canada forum, so I didn't see this until now! My interview with the Montreal Consulate is scheduled for July 12. Yippee! Less than a month away now!

Thanks,, I was getting frustrated with the same RFE and me sending the same response several times over and over again, I lost count. NVC has to FIX their EP immediately! They need to give out numbers and not the same barcode all the time. Whenever someone sends a package they should give a tracking number for that package. So that when you get an RFE you know which package they looked at. I have absouletly no idea which RFE response finally got the approval.

So, my husband called NVC today because it has been 10 days since the last call I had with a supervisor. We got the run around again, and now it's up to 15 days...

Thank you. It had been 2 weeks since the last time I asked for a supervisor review for me as well. Just don't ask for a supervisor review again cause it seems like the time gets reset and than you have to wait another 2 weeks. That is how I see it. So when I called these last 2 weeks I never requested a review again, thinking that it will reset the timetable.

Finally!! I certainly hope things pick up speed for you from here on! Best of luck with Montreal.

OMG that's AWESOME!!!! I knew you had to be right behind!!!!!!! I got an email the next day, and then called on the day after that (to ask about a false RFE that showed up that day) and it was confirmed. Dont' sweat it... you will be closed! Very happy for you!

Thanks guys. At least it will be over soon even if I don't get the expedite and the early July date. I guess I just have to change my plans somehow.
