Dumb question but does my husband have dual citizenship now or just American?

Yes what’s confusing is both yes and no answers are on uscis’ website. 
 

she says it’s a hassle sometimes because agents have never seen these cards and want to verify it’s real and how to process them. Meanwhile she needs to hurry to get to her flight. 

So a friend of mine from Germany has an alien permanent resident card. It’s so old that it doesn’t have an expiration date. She said it’s been a few years since she’s been to Germany and she doesn’t know if her permanent resident card is still good or if policies have changed. She said she always got hassled over it when traveling because a lot of people have never heard of a card not having an expiration date. She’s also in her 60’s and doesn’t want to renew if she doesn’t have to. So I’m asking if this card is still good and if so is there a way to streamline the process when traveling?

My husbands interview was today. He forgot his mask but luckily I had one in my truck. The kids and I had to stay in the parking lot. It took about 45 mins or so before he came out. He got all of his questions right. The questions were:

What ocean is on the west side of the country?

What are the two major political parties?

What is the President’s political party?

Who was the President during World War I?

Name two national holidays.

What are the two parts of US Congress?

He said he had to keep asking to repeat the question because they were wearing a mask and he couldn't tell what what they were saying. 
 

After that he had to read something like how many senators represent the US. Then for writing he had to write the answer. He took the Oath of Allegiance and was given the Naturalization certificate and the US flag.

But what confuses us is he was given an appt to come back later today for the ceremony. But everything he describes sounds like he already had it?!

So my husband never signed up for selective service because he was over the age of 26 when we filed for his green card. But uscis wants proof we registered for the interview. What should I do?

I got a text this morning from USCIS. They sent an interview letter! It’s about damn time!!

Are we the only ones left? I haven’t gotten a letter since the biometric reuse back in January. It’s been over a year now. It says estimated time left 2 months. Our branch is in South Carolina.

I just spent thousands on trip that is mostly non refundable. I just thought about what would happen if he got the interview during our trip. Is it hard to reschedule?

What all do we need to bring to the interview?

I never got a notice or email but I was checking the site today and noticed that it said “biometric reuse sent on Jan 20, 2021” under the documents tab. So all that’s left is the interview right?!

Would my husband be able to take a quick trip to Mexico right now? Is that going to affect his case?

Our estimated completion time went from March 2021 to May 2021. There hasn’t been any updates since we got the first notice back in September.

Hey everybody! My lawyer filed our application online 9/17 and it already shows a case completion estimate of March 2021 (6 months). 
My husband has a 10 year green card. It will expire next year.

My husband received his approval via text/email/ and officer the same day and the green card 8 days later.

My husband received his green card today. Just 8 days after interview!

We just received a noticed that the card has been ordered!!

We just got out of our interview. The man only wanted copies of our children's birth certificates and to see my husbands passport. He did not ask to see anything else. He saidmy husband was approved for the 10yr card and even gave him a Welcome to the United States booklet!

Congrats goro! Our appt is tomorrow. I'm excited and nervous for my husband.

Dh just called and said he went to the DMV and a person there told him when he showed the ead card that they only accept American citizens there!! I'm about to call and complain.

Dh received the social security card yesterday. How do we get a regular one later for him?
