Here is a trick that works
Call USCIS and Do not press anything( don't choose a language ), they will transfer you directly to a live person, now you can ask what you want, if they told you we can not answer your question, Ask if they could transfer you to a Tier 2 supervisor., who will have more privileges to access detailed information about your case.
In case a Spanish speaking person answers you, don't panic,simply ask him if he speaks English and he will immediately transfer you to an English speaking person.

And removing the Seperation Wall for a hundred meters or 2 in a village does not mean it is a progress. This happened after the village struggled for few years and they still. Many people got killed before this happened

What do rockets in Gaza have to do with building the Wall illegally on Palestinian land in the West Bank, in order to ultimately annex the illegal settlement blocs into Israel ?

Israel's Wall was purportedly built to stop "suicide bombers" from crossing into Israel; however, it was built not on Israeli territory or even along the Green Line, but juts deep into the West Bank to wrap around the illegal settlements, seizing even larger expanses of Palestinian land which Israel hopes to keep.

you need to slow down and back off a bit. ameriptian has been around here a lot longer than you have, and when it comes to certain posters, she knows the score, a whole lot more than you do. i know exactly who that comment was in reference to, and ameriptian is absolutely correct in what she said. it does not mean that ameriptian thinks "melissa n khalid's" situation is any less screwed up than everyone else is saying it is. but there's a looooong, ongoing history of arab-bashing from a certain poster, and this certain poster never ever fails to show up and arab-bash when these kinds of threads come around. ameriptian knows the score. you'd do well to back up and learn a bit from her.

My posts in this thread have been complementary about Jews - nobody has been more complimentary in this thread about Jews than me. That is a fact. I wish my own kids had turned out as well as many Jewish kids have

Exactly - I am comforted by knowing that there are many left wing Israelis/Jews who would agree with me and not the people who try to shut down political debate by screaming racist at every opportunity.
The reason I know that is through mixing with Jews and listening to their take on the US/Israel/Palestine issues and also learning of the diversity of opinion in Israel.

I'm a right winger, a Semite, no lover of Israel, although I like Jews just fine. I also have to agree with Alan that there are a disproportionate number of Jewish talking heads in the media. I'm not going to give it a number, but I watch the news one hell of a lot, and it's hard not to notice that when the Middle East is the topic, there are rarely any Muslims on the panel but usually more than one Jew. I'm not saying that all Jews support and love Israel either, they are divided about it, too. Yet, it doesn't help to maintain objectivity or balance in news reporting that most of the commentators tend to have a one-sided pro-Israel bent whether they are Jewish or not.
