We have been trying since April 15th and just got the same interview day and time as you guys!! See you there! I'm PUMPED!!

We got pkg 4 about 3 weeks ago. I just sent in the checklist saying I had everything.. was told not to send any originals in because they usually lose something. Just a heads up, we have been trying since April 15th to get an interview date in Montreal, right now there are no available appointments. so frustrating! lol

I booked my interview date for June this past wednesday. I couldn't see a date for several weeks though.... :S

Congrats on getting one! We have been trying a million times a day haha. I just want it to be booked already so I can pick a wedding date and start doing some serious planning.

As far as I know, last I was able to check, they were booking for late July.

Before they stopped letting us book interviews in Montreal, which months were people getting interviews for?

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I know how to book an appointment online I just would like to know if they open a chunk of appointments at one time or if it's just luck of the draw when you log on to try and book. I've been to the the website 100 times to book and there is never an appointment available. I've read the posts about how there are no appointments I would like to know how long I should expect to wait until I am able to book an interview.

We got package 4 in the mail last Friday and have been trying since to get an interview in Montreal. Does anyone know how they set up appointments? Will there be a bunch available in a few weeks? I've never read any posts about this on here. So frustrating to be so close and not be able to book an appointment!!

This is "Visa journey" so if there was a good place to "whine" about how this is affecting our lives I would think this was it. I notice that the people who are telling everyone to look at the big picture and who think it's no big deal to wait a bit since you wait a long time anyways, are the people who are already done the process and with their loved ones. Think of the people who have an interview next week and have been waiting a year or more to get to that stage. I'm pretty sure this website was set up to help people get through their visa journey and vent to people who understand what they're going through. no?

Quick question...For the DHL form do we check off "Non immigrant visa" or "Immigrant visa"? for the consular section to which the documents will be sent. I thought it was a non imigrant visa but I see a lot of people have marked it immigrant visa. Also, what address do we send it to for Montreal. I have the 315 Place d'Youville Suite 500 H2Y 0A4. Is that the correct one? Thanks!!

I forgot to mention it's the K1 visa I'm talking about.

We got our NOA2 on Feb 11th and are still waiting for Packet 3 as well. I'm going to call tomorrow and see what's up.

Be VERY careful with this! My fiance lived in Buffalo and I am from Canada...The company I work for had originally petitioned for me to get a L1b visa which got denied due to the job I do not qualifying. When we were waiting for the petition I gave hm some stuff that I wasn't using, a crockpot, tupperwear a box of his movies. .. when he was asked who's stuff it was and he told them it was mine all hell broke loose. They thought he was trying to move me over there illegally. Everytime he crosses now he gets drilled. I tried to go shopping a while back and I got denied entry and drilled about my fiance.

We have now applied for a fiance visa If I were you and could hold out on moving your stuff I would wait.

I have an allergy to egg, therefore I can't get any flu shots, or the chicken pox vaccine. I think there were a couple others I was unable to get.

How early can you apply for a waiver? How do I go about applying for it?

I was previously denied a Work visa L1-b, due to my occupation not qualifying as a special skill occupation.

We are now submitting a K1 application. Will the L1 denial affect the K1 at all?

I couldn't believe it! I don't usually get upset about stuff but since this has happened I don't feel like myself.

What really sucks is I was going to use my vacation time and go see my fiance in Tampa for two weeks. Now I'm scared to do that!

On Saturday I was going shopping with a friend and got denied entry into the USA (I'm from Canada) I was fingerprinted, had my picture taken...everything. They said I needed to prove I was a "temporary visitor for pleasure" Told me I would be in the system for a year and gave me a list of stuff to bring when I wanted to travel to the states at a later time...rent receipts, bank statments, so on. I asked if I could go home and grab them and come right back he said "yes" We decided to shop in Canada instead. haha.

My bf was waiting for us in the States for shopping and then he was coming back over with me. We got engaged this weekend!

So, now we are thinking of doing the fiance visa, since he is living in beautiful Tampa Florida and makes more money there than both of us would working here in Canada.

My question is...does the fact that I have been denied entry into the states make getting a fiance visa any more difficult?
