    Hi Saylin, why did you end up receiving another biometrics appt? Also, would you happen to know if I'm able to cross the border back into the USA with my expired PR card during the ROC process?

      I had a second biometrics appointment because the FBI couldn't process my fingerprints properly (which I thought was going to happen). Go to my blog and read about it as I give more details.

      And yup, you can. You just need your green card, the ORIGINAL NOA extension letter, and your passport. You can read about my experience 2 months ago also on my blog ;)

    Me neither, there are no publications on the CRA website for 2011, only 2010, but I'm sure the info will remain the same. Guess we both have to do some more reading!

    Hi, hope you had a good Christmas and new year! I was reading up on emigrant tax returns, turns out there's a "leaving canadian tax return", then you won't have to file a Canadian tax return each year after that. Are you aware of it?

    Must just be provincial as we got married in October 2010, I filed February 2011 for 2010 taxes while still living in BC.

    Sounds good! You can do it for free on turbotax and e-file it :)
