You should post your question in a different forum to get more responses. Try the Philippines or K-1 forum. In the meantime go to the top of the main page and click on Guides and Wiki to view help topics related to K-1 process or NVC.

I'm not familiar with K-1 process at NVC but the HK police will want to see some document with the NVC case number. What stage are you at now?
If you've gotten any email correspondance from NVC with the case number and beneficiary's name that should suffice for the application.
-
Their policy says they will issue the certificate within 4 weeks of application. You could try calling and bring this to the attention of a supervisor. My wife's CNCC was delivered in about 35 days from the day she applied.
-
Just found out my wife's interview is June 10!!
-
Thanks for the insight! I will definetly call again in the morning.

Has anyone had this happen? My SIF was April 28th and an operator told me that my case complete was April 29th. I've been calling the AVR every day to see if the case has been forwarded to the Embassy. The AVR said the case was complete on May 6th, and then again on May 10th. Each time the case complete date changes I get two emails. One says they are still waiting for my RFE, the other says they received my RFE. Everytime I speak to a live operator they tell me the case is waiting for interview scheduling. It seems our case is stuck in a loop.
-
No there is no visa available now. Visas are issued by the appropriate Consulate after the NVC processes the case and forwards there.
-
Thanks!
Weird your AVR changed the date your case was completed...
My case complete keeps changing. Now when I call the AVR it says my CC is May 10th. Anyone else have this happen?
-
You have to include the cost of new shoes, purses, and rice cooker.
Now that's funny right there!
-
What happens to the case in front of yours has no effect. There is no RFE pile.
-
Congrats to Saylin and everyone else passing their interviews!
My case was complete on 4/29 and then the AVR updated to case complete on 5/06 but I'm not sure why...still hoping for no later than June interview.

Glad you were able to get help from Tier 2. Good luck! Get your senator/congressman involved if they stall on you!
-
I suspect the OP has already done this but a call to USCIS Tier 2 is what needs to be done here. Petitioner's aren't going to get a direct call to CSC, ain't gonna happen. However if Tier 2 officer can't help call your senator/member of congress. Their offices CAN call CSC direct and get this resolved. Don't waste time with email.

I wondered the same thing when I got an RFE for missing photos. They lost mine as they were definetly sent. I highly doubt there's anything else they would need or it would have been requested. They're ready to decide your petition once they get the correct photos.
-
Call USCIS and ask to speak to a Tier 2 officer. It's possible they have you confused, and also possible they lost your eividence. They lost my photos I sent.
-
Joint returns need to have both signatures. You don't have a NVC # yet so you won't be slowed down if she can FEDEX a signed copy to you. I wouldn't take a chance on the RFE.

like Saylin said, no need to be interviewed at POE...I flew back with her so that is why I was interviewed
Sorry to hear of your experience at POE. Brow-beating people and then letting them through is passive-aggressive and an inidcation of a sense of weakness. There's a difference between asking matter-of-fact questions and then drawing conclusions as opposed to editorializing, which has no place in the conduct of an officer of the law.
Obviously a CBP officer can ask questions. But they aren't really in a position to gather all the evidence THEY would need to satisfy themselves of the legitimacy of a marriage. The govt. has already had the chance to do that prior to visa issuance.

It's good to see so many CC's at NVC. Are people getting expedite's at NVC because of the transfer to TSC?
I know I'm at the tail end of the transfer NOA1 dates, so I haven't asked for one yet.

When my wife applied for her Hong Kong CNCC on March 31st, we were told it was being sent to the NVC. Well we followed up today and were informed that it was actually sent to Consulate in Manila. But, our case is not complete at NVC, so the consulate has no idea who we are yet.
I'm wondering what the HK police put in their package, and if my wife's NVC number is included, either on the certificate or in their standard correspondance. Does anyone know this?
-
When I got my RFE from the TSC I got THREE letter's all saying exactly the same thing. I only responded to one of course and everything was OK. It took them 25 days to approve my petition from the date they received my response.
-
Do a VJ search for letter of self-employment. Make a letterhead with your business name and contact info and print on good quality paper. I did this and they accepted it. I also included a page taken out of my local phone book yellow pages showing my business ad.

Did your line 23 equal line 25 for your most recent tax year?
-
I'm there too!
I got an RFE email saying my I-864 has errors, then I called an operator and he said Manila is one of the Embassies that doesn't need a complete NVC file before scheduling interview. He said he was forwarding my case to his supervisor for review and interview scheduling.
Call NVC and see what they tell you.

Chalk me up for an RFE from NVC.
I really can't wait for this process to be over.
Which US court handles immigration cases?
in Bringing Family Members of US Citizens to America

US Courts do not "handle" immigration procedures for aliens intending to come to the US.
You'll need to provide more details...there's people on here that can help you to understand the process.
