I have a question... K1 visas for Mexico on Vermont can only go to Ciudad juarez Embasy?? what about the medical exam does it have to be in Ciudad Juarez as well??
-
Yes, you will have to do the interview in Juarez, and they have the clinics next door to the consulate. Do your medical exam first thing Monday morning, and if all is well, interview on Tuesday at the consulate. That gives you the rest of the week to wait for your passport with the visa in it to be produced by the consulate. Take a look at my review if you want more detailed information.

The AOS interview is set for May 18th. I am nervous, but cannot see any reason things should not be fine. :]
-
WE send my AOS on Monday 22 by express mail and we dont have news . . its that ok?
-
His SS card came in the mail today! :] Wedding in less than 2 weeks on the 12th. So much running around trying to pull it altogether. I can see why people elope, lol!
-
NOA2 today!!! APPROVED!!!
-
Bought my wedding dress, Save-the-Date cards have been sent, move into our new place on the 3rd, and my fiance arrives on the 4th-what a busy month!
-
No, they would not let me into the consulate or even ask my fiance if I was in town. But, it seems like for some people they asked them if it was possible for their fiance to come in for an interview as well (but they were able to deflect the questions if it was really financially not feasible for them to do so).

32 days since the NOA-1. Yes, I am checking the uscis page almost daily. i was hoping it'd only be a month wait. is more than 1 month normal? does it vary? :/

Starting to get a jump on the AOS documents (vaccination requirements, SSN info, researching my name change, etc.). This should not be too bad now that the pressure is off
-
By full price I hope you don't mean that you will pay for another physical! Did you check the "Civil Surgeons who Won't Rip You Off" board to see if there is anyone in your area? I think I am just going to have someone here translate the vaccination records and then have it notarized, and give that to the doctor to transcribe (but around here there is a good chance they will speak Spanish anyway).

I am hoping that in Texas it won't be an issue ! Have you been looking into vaccinations at all? I want to be sure that all that is required is the Td/Tdap, MMR, and Varicella, but I am not sure. I think I found some civil surgeons in my area that will transcribe the records for $25-$50, but I want him to get the shots before he comes because I am sure they will be cheaper in Mexico.

Off to Mexico for our interview!!!
-
VISA APPROVED. The Lord is faithful and our Help!!!

One week in Boston!! Should i go next week for my SSN?
-
Does anybody know if I need to be present in the interview whenever it comes around??? And also, if I call USCIS if i can find out exactly where in the process the application is?
-
The website is pretty much the only information you will receive from the USCIS about the status of your application. But, even when it is approved, that won't really let you know when your interview will be scheduled. Spend some time in the Peru forums to see how long the process is taking to get an interview once the National Visa Center (NVC) sends your information to the consulate there. That will clue you in more about your country-specific timeline. Good luck!!!
