It sounds like a good job to me and you should take it. You haven't even met him yet and he is already that controlling? Imagine how bad he will be if you do meet, get married, and live together. I didn't ask my wife to quit working until she became pregnant because I want my kids to have their mother full time. After the kids are in school she is free to work during school hours if she wants to.

No they aren't selectively incorrect, you would be appalled at some of the things I think. But it doesn't make sense when someone says that former Muslims can only speak honestly about Islam because they can't criticize it if they are still practicing. I have known Catholics who quit practicing and criticize Catholicism then bash christianity and catholicism. Besides this has nothing to do with me or my opinions, your post was completely off topic.

Practicing Muslims are not allowed to criticize Islam. So it makes sense that only former Muslims can be honest.
What point does that make? Anytime someone quits practicing a certain religion they criticize it.
Also I don't know of any religion that allows it's members to put it down. -

Another atrocity that seems to be forgotten is the massacre at the Shaba and Shatila refugee camps in Lebanon by Christian Phalangist forces in 1982, although it garnered major media at the time. The Karantina massacre in 1976 by the same group is something few have even heard of. The problem is Christian violence is viewed as part of a political effort, not about religion, even when expressly committed against non-Christians for sectarian purposes. Any attribution to partisan violence is reserved for Muslims, and rejected when applied to Christians or Jews.
I remember during the civil war in Lebanon 4 or 5 christian men cornered a pregnant Palestinian woman who was alone. They then held her down and cut her stomach open, they didn't even kill her first. After that they let her lay there in pain bleeding to death while they kicked the baby around like a soccer ball.

I knew once I posted that post that you had not said "all" so I should be more careful since apparently VJ works in a 'he said/she said' semantics type of environment...instead of the 'truth of meaning'...yet in my simple mind your post did imply that 'all' Christianity subscribed to this view (at least in my view, you implied it) which is not true and that is what I sought to correct.
However, if you do know that belief varies betweens sects then please don't lead the sheep to any specific belief in Christianity which is specific to only certain sects. that is a misrepresentation of the faith. I often hear you say this about Muslims (don't peanut butter us) and the same must be said of Christianity.
Its a simple common courtesy which I think you, of all people, can respect.

I would still talk to an attorney before doing anything. You don't want to risk them saying that those few years you were away can cancel your green card. I have read some horror stories on here about unknowing people paying for the mistakes of USCIS and going through h3ll and back because of it.

That would be the affidavit of support, she will not have to support him. But.....if he draws any type of means tested assistance like food stamps or medicaid (except emergency medicaid) the government could sue the sponsor to pay it back. Generally a green card holder can't get means based assistance until they have been a permanent resident for 5 years and by then many of them are already a citizen so the affidavit or support is no longer valid.

I think we have to start to call UScis againg, other way they gonna forget about may filler againg, specially the filler than sent to California, I am getting
too, we had planes like trips but we can't dp it becouse maybe they will send a request, oh I am disapointed , they are not doing very well their job.I think you have to wait 6 months from your NOA date to ask them what is going on with your case. If you call before that they will probably tell you to wait until then.

You know it's bad, when the only good news is, that no August filer is approved yet. Every month is getting
approved, except for us May CSC filers ( and some April filers as we learnt ).
I applied in June and I am waiting for them to start approving August CSC filers before the May biometrics are even finished

Do you mind me asking what country we are dealing with? And why do you need a second interview? Usually people never have an interview for ROC from what I understand. Did you have an AOS interview or did they just give him the 2 year green card without an AOS interview. Do you think they are suspicious.....did you two seem unhappy are your interview?

Like the story I saw on CBS the other day, nothing ever happens proactively here and action is almost always only taken once something becomes a big problem. Unfortunately once action is taken, it costs 15 times the price that it would have cost to fix the problem proactively. It was saying how Americans simply do not praise or demand politicians be proactive, they prefer to cheer on the politician seen as doing something afterward.
The nation's history is plagued with examples of doing nothing, then paying dearly for it. So Atencio you are right, Australians are quite proactive and dynamic people, they don't wait for something to happen; rather, they do everything they can to prevent it. Hence the proactive stimulus leading to a total avoidance of the Global financial crisis.
Hence the toughening of security across the abroad, leading to no terrorist attacks. They did not need to be attacked to wake up, they learned from others mistakes.
If everyone became proactive then they would have to miss The Bachelor and Desperate Housewives!

Nothing will be done. Do you actually think the U.S. politicians aren't being paid off and participating in the drug trade too? Like an earlier poster said they should just legalize drugs and regulate it like alcohol and tobacco. Sure there would be addicts just like there are alcoholics.....but addicts will do drugs regardless if they are legal or illegal.

The apartments I live has Orkin come out monthly to spray for insects. Our apartment is clean because my wife is an obsessive compulsive clean freak, but there are some nasty ones who live in some of the other units in our building. Luckily they haven't given us any roach problems.

You can never make people understand if they don't want to, some people only look for the bad in things. Like another poster said to name him any religion and he can make it look evil. It is a waste of energy to try to make anyone understand if they don't want to, you should know......
As for the faithless, it is the same to them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not have faith. Allah has set a seal on their hearts and their hearing, and there is a blindfold on their sight and there is a great punishment for them....
