  1. As I'm collecting good character letters, should I include in application or keep as evidence during interview (they will be signed ones)
  2. I did see that it asked for GC and daughters birth certificate, I added additional evidence
  3. I could but it's more beneficial to me and my family to be a citizen
  4. I have to apply for it regardless, my GC expires in June of this year.
  5. Arrest in 2013, probation 2014 through 2016, no other law enforcement interactions since. Immigration lawyer advised that as it is over 5 years for all the impact is still there but lower. Getting good character letters from friends and family to support application.
  6. It was for a suspected DUI which was plead down to a wet reckless, I had another thread around how to complete that section. No accident, no one else involved, stupid mistake.
  7. Well, I can't avoid it as it happened. Not sure why you would say I shouldn't apply for this because of it.
  8. I don't see why a misdemeanor traffic offense that was almost 10 years ago should be an issue?
  9. Filing under the 5 year rule, I've added tax returns from 2021 back to 2017 as well as mortgage statements back to when we refinanced to our current mortgage provider. As long as I scan in my court records I should have enough right?
  10. Thanks Mike E, I'm sorry for all the questions but I feel more evidence is better. Just to clarify, I don't need joint accounts evidence because of how old my I-751 filing is?
  11. New problem, we refinanced our mortgage in early 2020 and I can't access those statements anymore. My current mortgage statements go back to August 2020, will that be enough?
  12. My I-751 evidence is from 2013, not sure I should include that.
  13. So you submitted 4 statements per year going back 3 years?
  14. Filing today and wanted to know what additional evidence I should be including to support my application. Is it still things like tax returns, bank statements, mortgage statements, basically anything that shows marriage-based evidence? I have started a couple of businesses as well, should I include the certificate of good standing for them?
  15. Thanks. I have been putting each date of each section based on my court records so hopefully I have it all in the right order. Thanks for the ending sentence as well, that's a good point to put in.
  16. Really surprised no one has any advice for filling this out, I am always anxious about this section as it brings back painful memories and I know I have to complete and want to make sure I fill it out correctly so as not to hurt my citizenship chance.
  17. As I fill out my application I have to complete this section and this has been the one that messes me up every time I have attempted to file. I was arrested on suspicion of DUI in November 2013, booked into county and released later that morning. I was convicted of misdemeanor wet reckless, given 2 years probation and completed that with no more incidents. I have all the court records/probation notices etc but am unsure how to complete the section as it seems like a repeat of the previous one. For the arrest section do I JUST put the arrest information only or the entire case? For the charged with a crime section, do I include the arrest information or just the misdemeanor charges from court docs? Basically is every section on this the same and needs to be identical each time?
  18. I'm filing online, there is no way to avoid not giving 5 years of evidence of travel, once I completed the eligibility section that was the only option to provide.
  19. My application is based on marriage and I've been eligible to naturalize for a long time now, pretty much think it's based on the 3 year but not sure to be honest. The form is asking for 5 years.
  20. I can't find my USCIS Online Account Number, I believe all my previous applications have been by mail and not online, is this number required or can be ignored?
  21. Filing out my application today and realized that since I moved jobs recently, I no longer have access to what I used for tracking my out of country trips. When the application says 5 years of out of country trip history, how accurate does that have to be (exact date you left and returned)? Would I have to go back to 2017? I think I have all my trips from 2018 through 2022 but the dates aren't the most solid.
  22. What does that mean exactly? Faster processing times? More or less additional questions or requests for information? More or less approvals?
