  3. guys i am planning to have my medical at st. lukes this coming monday. i was anxious with this sputum test so i want to have my medical at tne soonest to save time if ever they would require me to undergo sputum test. Will st. lukes allow me to do it even if i still dont have my appointment yet? my case was completed as of aug.31st.... i read somewhere that i can do it already but just want to make sure because im travelling from the province. :)

  4. i received NVC's reply about my case status and this was the message...

    Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's

processing has been received. As soon as an interview date has been

scheduled, the designated representative of this case (applicant,

petitioner, or attorney) will be notified. The US Embassy or Consulate

General may require additional documentation at the time of the

    interview.

  5. Our petition is under F1 category (usc's unmarried child, over 21). The case was completed by NVC on Aug 31, 2010. [The priority date is also current since March 2010.] The case completion was confirmed by AVR as well as several NVC human operators. However, after 20 days of case completion, we are still able to sign in to the on-line payment site without problem. We can sill access the payment page, and all of the bills (AOS, IV) are still showing up as "Paid."

From what I can gather on the VJ forum, it looks like SIF is either before the case completion or shortly after case completion updated by AVR or NVC operators. However, our case has been completed for 20 days, and still without SIF -- should we be concerned? I am asking because I don't want the case to be sitting at NVC but not be in the queue for interview scheduling.

Thanks in advance for your help!

hi your case was completed same as the day as mine was completed and still can sign in too! made me bother too... nice to know everything is just okay and just normal. hope we get our interview date the soonest.. goodluck:thumbs:

  6. NOW we can make this thread for the people waiting on there interview to be Scheduled from NVC to there embassy so am one of them who else and what the recommendations for the interview

AND for the people they did not get them case completed yet be sure everything has it`s time and we all almost there and no separation from our families no more

    GOOD LUCK ALL

count me on this  ! case complete as of august 31st and still waiting for interview :(

  7. Somebody sends me a link about the AOS packet and IV packet to be submitted at the NVC. Under the IV- Packet, it includes there my police certificates and other documents. So meaning to say my husband is the one who will send those or is it I? Which is better though?

its up to your choice, what we did in our case is hubby sent his AOS packet first from US and i sent my IV packet from here in PI because i have to wait for my passport and that took a little while... but i would suggest base in our experience it is better to send those docs to ur spouse first and send AOS and IV at the same time... so NVC people could possibly review your documents(AOS and IV) at the same time and if nothing is missing youll be case complete right there!... its up to your choice, anyways sending it from you or from ur spouse wouldnt matter to NVC. goodluck!

  8. Three factors:

1.Generally NVC schedules interviews in the second week of each month for the following month.

    2. Depends on the capacity of the consulate to hold the interview...how many slots are available etc. Does a F1 have a priority over a CR1? who knows.

3.Following what is happening in my case for a interview in India, there is no consistency. For example, we are told that they are still scheduling even though the second week has passed. Mumbai consulate appears to have finished scheduling, they have a list up on the consulate. Delhi and Chennai do not.

Best thing for you to do is call NVC (upto 20-30 minute wait sometimes)...ask for an operator (option 5). Tell them my case has been completed on xx-date, has my interview been scheduled? and see what they say.

    Good luck.

same here.... i have no idea if manila consulate have finished in scheduling or what... waited for an hour and such a waste cant connect to NVC people since calling from the philippines is too expensive

  9. To all my VJ family.

Im finally back from my 2 weeks off to get my family, And now i can truly say my journey on this one has finally ended, and a new chapter in life with my famly has just began. Though the process was long and tiedous , but its all worth the wait. To those who are still on the process or waiting for the interview appointment, just keep on praying and all will be well.

hi raymond glad you came back.... i feel you.. your message is soo touching... i am soo happy for you!!! your right its all worth the wait...may all of us here will find what our heart desires and be happy as you... please stay and keep in touch.. godbless you and family!

  10. hi as soon as you got the NOA2 and once your priority date is about to become current you will expect NVC to send you papers in emails or postal mails in the following order...

    1. Agent of choice Form- petitioner and benificiary will get this

    2. Affidavit of Support fee bill- whoever you declared as your agent of choice will get this...you can have the petitioner as your agent of choice

    3. Ds-230(immigrant visa application form) fee bill- agent of choice will get this

it all depends on how you quickly respond on the following required documents and become case complete. once your case complete you would just have to wait for your appointment of interview and do the medical...hope it helps! goodluck

  11. dont worry guys you will have date very soon,it take them about a week to tell you after they have sheduled your appt.

u mean to say when they already assigned schedule to your case it would take a week before you receive the formal interview notification? i hope so my friend.... i was trying to reach NVC but still no luck lines were too busy  ...
